Retired university teacher and librarian with interest in Civil War burials and burial practices. Also undertaking to photograph all cemeteries in Erath County, TX, and surrounding counties, then to enter the tombstone information into the database. Many older tombstones are in such shape as to be illegible, so corrections to bad or missing biographical information is welcomed. |
Please make requests for additions, corrections, links, etc., directly from the memorials' "edit" feature rather than here. I'll get to them much faster. (Transfers to direct descendants, please, and not in bulk lots!)

Find A Grave #112956329
Would you turn Gary over to me, he is my brother?
|Andie DuClos||Mary Elizabeth Kinard Palmer 31902523|
Mary was born in Bibb County, Alabama. She married Robert Spencer Palmer in 1891. They had 7 children: Pauline 1894, Purson 1896, Caroline 1898, Orvel 1900, John Ira 1903, Marcus 1904, Robert Larkin 1905.
Her youngest child Robert Larkin Palmer was born 21 Nov 1905 and died 7 Aug 1906 after his mother's death in March.
Her widower, Robert, moved to Alberta, Canada. He remarried to Minerva Rowena Williams in 1910 and they had 8 more children. He died in 1932 and is buried in Bonnyville, Alberta, Canada (see Find A Grave 140238565).

Ken, if you get a chance can you approve the edit to link Loanna to her husband Kenneth? I am trying to update the memorials for my in-laws. Thanks, joe

You are listed as the creator for the comments on M. E. Dunn. Your comments say she was the wife of J. T. Ferris. I have a different opinion. I believe she is Matilda Elizabeth Mulberry Moore Dunn. Her first husband, Charles Moore, is buried nearby. He is my wife's ancestor that immigrated from Ireland.

Hi Ken - Thank you so very, very much for linking my brother, David Lee Morris who died in 1934 with my parents who died more than 50 years later. I know I have a lot to learn, still; but I was unable to link them. You are a responsible memorial manager & our findagrave hero. Thanks again, GinieReed
|Jan and Carol Van de Wetering||Possible duplicate find-a-grave memorial|
I believe your find-a-grave memorial # 20656999
is one and the same as memorial # 54485410 created by Sheran Weible
I don't know if you two would like to collaborate and combinee these two memorials into one or not. Just giving a "head's up."
Carol Van de Wetering,
granddaughter of John Rickman Holland through his daughter, Simruda Catherine Holland Covington (1828 - 1906)
Please review edits submitted for this memorial. Thanks, joe
Many thanks for the Ryan transfers, they have been linked to family.

Hi, thank you for putting my Great, Great Grandfathers information on Find a grave. I wanted to let you know that he was also a Texas Ranger and served with Buck Berry. That unit went into the War Between the States. He also received the Southern Cross of Honor from the United Daughters of the Confederacy for his service.
Thanks so much
