Greetings - I'm researching a Joseph Sawyer that died 5 January 1891, in Toledo, OH. His death certificate says he was buried in Forest Cemetery there, but they have no record of him. I believe your memorial is likely his. He died in a railway accident. What can you tell me about this Joseph Sawyer?
Happy New Year.

I collect vintage postcards and have been looking into a dancer who appeared on many of them at the turn of the last century. Her stage name was Saharet. From what I have traced so far, her birth name was Clarice Campbell, born in Australia on March 24, 1879. She married Isaac Rosenstamm (Rose) in 1896. Divorced from Rose, and following a brief marriage to Fritz von Frantzius, she married Maxim P. Lowe, in 1917. I believe they were later divorced, but Clarice did not remarry again.
Clarice and Isaac Rose had a daughter, born November 17, 1896. Her name was Caroline or Carrie Madelon Rose. The daughter died Jan 5, 1950 in Battle Creek.
Clarice's obituary notes she came to Battle Creek in 1947 and that her daughter, Caroline Madelon Rose was deceased.
Do cemetery records have any additional information about Clarice? Also, I don't see a FindAGrave entry for the daughter, Caroline. Is she buried at Oak Hill, perhaps next to her mother?
There's information about Saharet on the web at sites such as Wikipedia and www.hat-archive.com/Saharet.htm

Thank you for the transfer of Charlotte. You are doing such a great job of adding the memorials for the people that are in your cemetery. Way be on what is done by most Cemetery workers and very much appreciated.

Debra, thnaks a bunch for all you've provided on Wesley and known family. Though I'm still searching for his parents & siblings, we now have a whole lot more to go on and hopefully a door will open.
Also, thank for all you do at Oak Hill and with Findagrave - means a lot :)

Hi Debra ... I ran across this memorial and can't seem to place him in the Slawson/Slauson tree. Perhaps you have any additional info on pareents or siblings. I know he was married to Lucy Catherine Wood and they had at least one child, Hattie Slawson Stone.
Best regards, Joe

Would you reverify Ella's date of burial? Her gravestone is inscribed 1865-1903, which agrees with her death certificate which says she would be buried in Harmonia Cemetery.
Is it possible this was a reinterment?
I manage a memorial for her in Harmonia Cemetery and am not sure where to go with this.
