It was my pleasure to be able to help you out. My husband, Dad and I had a very nice day out that day, we really enjoyed ourselves. I thought it was strange that only one side was readable. If you should need anymore help in the central michigan area please let me know.

Re: note on your photo request, is this the Melvin Grant Scudder you're looking for?
If so, is the Mary K. Scudder @ Grandview another wife tha should be linked?
Are you still interested in the gravesites at Bowlus Cemetary? This Cemetary is on my families land, I grew up taking walks to it and playing in it. The last time I was up there, it's on a hill, it was in complete disarray and many of the stones have been vandalized. Those that are still there are very weathered and hard to read. I will be back to the area in the summer and may have the chance to go to the Cemetary if you are still looking for the stone information.

I can hardly find the words to thank you for such wonderful photos of my family members.... You have certainly given us a fine gift.....not only did you photograph and post the three individual headstone/markers, but you added the additional photo of all of them together at Alta Mesa Memorial Park. That photo was so unexpected and such a treasure, as I am all the way across the country from where they are buried and unable to travel there.
Your volunteer time and expertise is truly valued and appreciated,
|Steve Harrison||RE: Snook|
I'm so sorry that the cemetery is not cooperative with photographers. We have one here that is similar and I simply do not go there. When I phoned the Alta Mesa office for the location, they were very helpful and friendly and there were no problems. I'm glad I did that so you could easily get the photo. Thanks again, Steve
Thanks for the very quick response to my request for a photo of Walter B. Snook's marker. I appreciate your help. Steve

Thank you ever so much for the very well taken picture's of the Marker for Eugene and Doris Kalney. Living in St Louis I doubt very seriously that I would ever get a chance to pay my respects. Your job as a volunteer must be very frustrating at times. I am frustrated regarding this website for Find A Grav.Com, it is extremely confusing. I need to know if the photos that you took are set in stone on my memorial site or is there something else I need to do.
