|Thanks to a lady named Annette and the photo she placed on Find A Grave, I was able to break through a brick wall in my quest to document the family tree. Since then I've placed a number of requests. I am very grateful to the folks who took pictures and filled those requests.|
I pretty much limit myself to taking pictures in the San Francisco National Cemetery in the Presidio of San Francisco. It's an absolutely beautiful place with lawn that would make any gardener envious and with breathtaking views of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco Bay.
If there is anything I put up on this web site that needs correcting or that you would like me to remove, please let me know. If you would like me to transfer a memorial to you, please let me know. Be sure you are logged in and then use the edit tab. With the exception of my own family's memorials, I would be happy to make the transfer.

Thank you for taking the time to take the picture of my Aunt Gloria's memorial. As a Marine Corps veteran, I am truly humbled by the effort exerted by selfless people, such as yourself, who help bring closure to peoples ancestoral heritage. Semper Fi

I believe that his name on his headstone (Toomey) was incorrectly transcribed on 4/1/1953 by JBK when they took his information from an old form and put it on the form used for his headstone as indicated by the note left on the new Report of Interment.
His father was Patrick Twomey and his wife Mary and he (John) had the following kids:
Walter Joseph Twomey (1884 - 1952)
George Ambrose Twomey (1884 - 1948)
Note the spelling of the last names of there kids.

You're very kind Carol. Thank you for your attempt and I will wait a time with patience!!
Yes those government markers can be problems can't they? The one I'm interested in says the location is E-WES-1406. Archangelo Margiotta. I always say 'they're not going anywhere' so if you have to wait for a different time of year so be it. Thanks.
Yes, I was surprised when I saw how low my number was. I remember when I first got a computer, how my first 'favorite' I added was 'Find a Grave'. Doesn't get me any special privileges however-ha ha!
Carol, I see where you say you primarily get photos at Presidio National. I had a request up for a few weeks and no one claimed it so I took it off. If I put it back, would you be interested in claiming it?
Thanks for Leonetti. I will work on adding to this tomorrow probably.

Thank you Carol for the transfer. I appreciate it and your hard work locating family members for those of us that are unable to.

Thank you Carol for the photo permission and making the connections to Dorothy. I appreciate it. If you would like to place her with a family member, I'd be happy to maintain her memorial. I care more that she is connected to her family. Dorothy had four children, so I'm working on getting them to connect them to their parents as well.
Thank you again-
