Bio Photo In honor of Ed Chilton
“ understand who a person really was, what his or her life really meant, the speaker for the dead would have to explain their self-story–what they meant to do, what they actually did, what they regretted, what they rejoiced in. That's the story that we never know, the story that we never can know–and yet, at the time of death, it's the only story truly worth telling.”
― Orson Scott Card, Speaker for the Dead

RE: Johanna VanParys
You're welcome. There are very few memorial stones in that area - so I wasn't surprised there wasn't one for her. Depression-era burials were frequently unmarked, at least in this area.

Green Ridge corrections
The majority of the memorials I created at Green Ridge were created from transcriptions I found online that were done by some other industrious souls. I just entered the data that they had, so am finding quite a few errors. Until RAP photographed the stones, we didn't know there were errors; thank you for taking the time to spot them and notify me so that I could correct the bios on the memorials. It's nice to keep this site as clean as possible, so your corrections are much appreciated! Robin
