I was born in Memphis, TN, raised in Jackson, MS, and moved to Dallas in 1967.|
My father was Jesse Thomas White.
My mother was Clara Vanderberg White .
You are invited to visit their memorials to see their ancestors.
I am addicted to FindaGrave and genealogy research in general. I have had the good fortune to connect with a number of cousins through this website.
Most of my research is tracing family members in Mississippi.... Panola, Quitman, Calhoun, Yalobusha and Hinds Counties.
My Family Names: White, Vanderberg, Vanderburg, Potts, Jenkins and Hupperich.
My wife's family: Pitt, Sapp, and Newcomer's, mostly from Oklahoma, and Baldridge from Tennessee.
"I have never met a cemetery I did not like", and
"I can not go to a cemetery and take just one picture".
I am also a volunteer photo taker at Grove Hill, Restland and Oakland Cemeteries in Dallas.
If I have added one of your family members or family friends, let me know and I will transfer them to you.
A number of the pictures added and memorials created in the Memphis and North Mississippi area have been contributed by my cousin, Becky Vanderburg Abbott.
Any photograph I have added to any memorial may be used by the general public, without credit to me.

A memorial you posted for Robert J. Campbell doesn't match his head stone. The name on the stone is Robert J. Camp. The memorial number is 142155153.
|James Morphew||Thank you|
Tom, Thank you for going to Grove Hill and taking photos of my relatives stones. THX, Pamela

Thank you for your kind offer; however, the family is not related. I was performing some research for another family.
Thank you for the photos of Paeder's headstone, he was my distant cousin.

Mr. White I cannot thank you enough for the picture of Mrs. Lane's grave and the USD1812 marker. She was our charter chapter president of the John Cavet Chapter #39 in Dallas. We celebrated out 100th anniversary this year and we held a high tea in her honor in March. I am sad to see the grave marker is damaged but relieved that it is still there at all. You have made the day of a couple of hundred Daughters of the War of 1812 with this picture. Thank you again and again!
