In my research, I discovered that my great grandmother, Mary Baker Newbrander, was Catherine's sister. Mary has also been listed as Becker in the past.
Their parents were John and Margaret Baker in an 1870 census. Their brother was Jacob Baker. Jacob, his wife Mary, their children Harry, Margaret, and Edward are buried next to the Conrad's. The Bakers are in Section 8 Lot 28A and the Conrad's are on Section 8 Lot 28B at Woodside. Also, the marriage records show Catherine (Katie) and John were married on 2/9/1888 and her maiden name was Baker. Catherine's daughter, Leona Conrad was a first cousin to my grandfather.
It is up to you if you want to make this change based on this information or not. It is not that important to me.

I noticed you have several contributions from the Butler Co OH cemeteries. Are you from this area too or were you just visiting?
|Sheila ||Francis T. Schamel - Corrections|
1) His first name was Franklin, not Francis, according to 1880 U.S. Census, and he was known to all as Frank.
2) His spouse's maiden name was Pahud, not Welch - Elizabeth F. Pahud. This was verified by their grandson, who is living and is my father-in-law, and by family records as well as many Ancestry records. They did have a daughter, Elizabeth, known as Betty, who married a man named Howard Welch.
