I have been doing research in my East Texas area for 30+ years and I love it! I have many resources that I use and am willing to help my fellow researchers in any way I can. I am researching Sanders, Welch, Page, Gunnels, Hooper, Roberson, Young, Hereford and McNair lines in the East Texas area and beyond. My husbands lines are Cartwright, Forrest, Walker, Freeman, Ivy, Baldree and Drawhorn. I have extensive information on these lines and have knowledge of many of the old generations of other names in the area. Just contact me if I can help you in your search. Happy Hunting!|

Stephen Passmore's Bio indicates that he was born in Wilkinson County, GA, that he lived in Barber, Alabama, and that he died in San Augustine County, TX. He has all of these locations in common with my 2nd Great Grandmother Christian Passmore, including his year of birth. Christian Passmore was born in 1820 in South Carolina and married William Herring in Pulaski County, GA (county not same as Stephen's, but nearby). Before 1847, she & William moved to Barber, AL where my Great Grandmother, Joanna was born. The family later moved to San Augustine County, Texas before 1859 and william died there after 1860. Christian was not on the 1860 census with her family, therefore I assume she died somewhere between Barber County and San Augustine County. Unfortunately I have no other information about Christian and would like to know more about her. I assume that she is related to Stephen Passmore.
Did you write Stephen's bio and are you his descendent? If not, can you direct me to the author of his bio?

Cheryl, please remove the death Cert, from the fore mention memorial #. I do not have a lot of faith in the death Cert.s as I have found many with incorrect info and have asked that they not be put on any memorial that I have created or that I maintain. This is clearly stated in my bio. Again I will ask you to remove it,
Have a nice day.

Much appreciated. Thanks.
FYI, I'm pretty sure her mother, Georgia Anne P Davis was nee Georgia Anne P Dunagan. Georgia Anne Dunagan's mother was Mary Ella Aveline (Buffington) Dunagan, daughter of "our" Ellis and Peggy Buffington. I have no incontrovertible proof, but there just couldn't that many Georgia Anne Ps born in 1864 living in that area.

Hi Cheryl --
Rats -- I never saw your email - I looked threw my spam folder but I dump it occasionally and I don't really check it (it's never caught anything valuable to my knowledge) so I may have accidently dumped it. But I got this last one from findagrave.com. I think I was able to determine that Franklin is the right Franklin? Are you related? He is my husbands' 3rd great uncle. We've had trouble tracking up higher than that generation. THanks for your help!
136800271 Richard Antoine "Dick' Smith was married to Minnie B Schultz Smith 117031068 I have tried to make these edits and suggested others to correct Smith memorial pages but not getting anywhere - thank you
He had two wives and his son named after him was not Minnie's. hope this makes sense
Hi Cheryl- I am emailing you about Smith Cemetery :)
|Mandy Diercks||Franklin Goodman (# 83111874)|
You have a picture for Franklin Goodman so I'm hoping that means you have some connection? I'm trying to confirm that he is the Franklin that I'm looking for and that the parents you list are accurate. I'm so excited to get more info! Thanks for any connection you may have and all the time you put into findagrave for us!
