Bio and Links
Bio Photo As a youngster Mama, would take me to family cemeteries. In the woods, in pastures, in the middle of nowhere. She would tell me who they were and how we were kin. I didn't realize then that she was expecting me to carry on the stories of our family and of their final resting places. She showed me the graves of her grandmother's first babies. She told me how her grandmother had fretted when it came time to move. "Who will care for the graves?" I didn't understand then what I know now. Time takes its toll on the stones and those in the woods can be lost.
So today I try to record what I can, even those that are not my kin. These stones represent where our loved ones rest.

If I have entered a relative/ancestor/friend of yours and you would like ownership of their memorial, please send a "correction" notice requesting the transfer - it is my pleasure to reunite family.

PHOTOS: I've walked cemeteries for those that haven't yet found them, or cannot walk them for whatever reason. I gladly give permission for the use of these photos for your research.

If I have helped you, I sure would appreciate it if you would leave flowers for my Mama - she loved them so.

Remembering Mama,

Dup cemetery
I've been asked by another contributor to work through a duplicate of a cemetery.
The original cemetery and original memorials are yours. Bates Bond Family Cemetery.
The duplicate cemetery and duplicate memorials are entered by Paul Karen & Katherine.

Today I sent this edit request below to Paul Karen & Katherine. Once they've moved their memorials over to your cemetery, your memorials will be originals and theirs will be the duplicates. I will let you know what happens next. You may not want their work merged into yours, i.e. their duplicate memorials merged into your originals. But that's not going to happen unless I or someone else takes that next step. Here's the edit I sent to them:
All the memorials in this cemetery were created July 2014. There was already a cemetery for these deceased. The creation of this cemetery in 2014 caused a duplicate cemetery.
Would you please move the memorials in THIS cemetery over to the original cemetery which is Bates Bond Family Cemetery. After you have moved them over, I will ask the editors to delete this duplicate cemetery. Also many of your photos are posted sideways. It would be good if you could repost them upright so we don't have to ask the editors to do that. This msg is not meant to be anything but helpful. If there is anything I can do to assist, let me know.

Thanks for your quick response.

I am at a loss to find some acceptable document that confirms the Genealogy subscribed on the stone. Is there a Will or other document, a Church Record, a Bible Record, or something stating that he is the son of Richard Clark Jr. & Martha Basford Clark??

I am a Registrar for a SAR Chapter trying to prove the lineage on the subject stone in St John Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Any help that you can provide will be appreciated.
If you know the age of the Stone, it will also be appreciated.

It's just that I'd love to see it, since she is a relative and there are photo requests as well

I'm wondering if you can help me figure out which house they are behind on Priceville. Wanda says it's on the right going toward #378 but she doesn't recognize the house after all these years. Do you remember anything about the house? Melinda was my GGrandmothers sister making her my Great Grand Aunt.
