I'm aware I have notified Find A Grave and had 2 others merged only to find another one. She's very persistent but does not provide documentation for the edits she requests. I'm not the only one she does this to.

Hi, I believe the memorial for David states that there is no headstone for David.

William C Funderburk ~ Union Grove

In fulfilling your photo request, I found William C Funderburk at rest in the Union Grove Cemetery (rather than White Rose) alongside his wife, Rebecca. The manager of his memorial was notified; and the memorial has been moved.

I just uploaded a photo of his headstone using the Transcription beta. I do not know if it let you know that this has been added or not so I thought that I would let you know.

RE: Miritello Family
Hi Rebecca,
Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you, I've have not been to the find a grave site in quite a long while. Well concerning your message, my Grandfathers name was Dominick Miritello, after my Father's passing, my Sister had obtained a lot of information about my Grandfather from the paperwork that my Dad had stored away. Now we knew some, but not anywhere near all, we knew little scattered things from the stories my Dad had told over the years. I will confer with my Sister to find out some info that could answer your questions. I know he came to America twice, once when he was a small child, went back to Italy as a teenager, and then came back as a young adult, settled in the Bronx, and stood here for the rest of his life. Maybe something else that could be helpful to you in your search is this. About a year ago or so, I had a wonderful lady contact me on Facebook, her name was Paula Miritello and lived in Yorktown Heights, NY , I was quite taken back by this because the name is so uncommon, there is just simply not a lot of us around. She then had messaged me about a group she had started on Facebook called "The Miritello's". The reason being the same one I mentioned, a very uncommon name. Her goal was for all of us to be able to message and post all our family genealogy, to see if any of us could be related. There are a group of Miritello's settled in Chicago that own a pizza chain called Miritello's Pizza, the owner being Scott Miritello. Now we all started leaving our Parents, Grandparents, and Great Grandparents info in the group postings. And what kept coming up with our comparisons was the same thing no matter where we settled in the world. All our ancestors came from the same little town in Sicily, the town of Nicosia. That's were my Grandfather was born, it's just remarkable. So I suggest you join that Facebook group because there is a wealth of Miritello information there and you'll meet great people there as well, lol, I guess I'm a bit biased. Meanwhile I will see what info my Sister can supply me with in the interim. I will get back to you using find a grave messaging, if you want to contact me my email address is,, or if you're on Facebook send me a friend request, Paul Miritello, Thanks Rebecca.

Westview photo requests

I would like to help you find your photo request at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta.

Westview is massive the largest cemetery in the whole Southeast. Would you please help me by calling the cemetery office at 404-755-6611 to find out whether the grave is marked with a monument or marker or both AND what the section and lot numbers are.

Then I will gladly look.

The office is reluctant to give out that information to non-relatives.
