"Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing. And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb. And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance." (Kahlil Gibran)|
I love this website, and would especially like to thank all of you who visit the graves of my great-grandfather, Luigi Accursi; my cousins, Troy William Cole, Albert Tognarelli, and Bill Wessel; my chess partner, Peyton Russell "Russell" House; and my other good friend, Roberta Page; as well as the other people in my cemeteries for chess players, poets, crossword pioneers, social and environmental activists, veterans, and those who left this world too soon!
In addition to the memorials of my loved ones, I especially want to encourage people to visit my VETERANS MEMORIAL and cemetery for SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL ACTIVISTS. All of the
people "interred" in those cemeteries made major sacrifices so that the rest of us could live freely in a healthy environment; far too many of them made the ultimate sacrifice at heartbreakingly young ages. Sadly, few of them get very many flowers. Please show them some love and do what you can to ensure that their sacrifices will never be forgotten.
God bless you all!

You're welcome for the flowers to your loved ones. I enjoyed giving them out! As for Gilbert, he's a stray I've been taking care of the last 5 yrs and he's one BIG challenge!!
Have a great night!

Thank you very much Kate. I moved in the middle of my senior year, and spoke with a "tick Noo Yawrk" accent. The kids hated me. Lynda was so nice to me. She didn't care. She invited me to sit with her at the homeroom table. Then, I went to play music back in New York, and she was smashed. When I got back from my term of US Naval service, I contacted the drunkard that took the life of the only nice person I met. When I found out, it crushed me. The buried her at the bottom of Ellington Road, the road I lived on, and it liked to kill her folks. I couldn't sit in home room after that. The kids said I jinxed her. Nice Connecticut people. I walked into the office and told them I would report here everyday, but if they were going to insist on me going to home room, I would quit. They agreed, I sat in the chair every morning until graduation. The saddest thing is someone swiped my year book with her photo in it. I remember her though.

It's a pleasure to visit your cemeteries...and please, you really don't need to thank me all. Thank you for the visits you've made to my memorials too.

I'm really glad Kate. I have to work on building up my icons (flowers/offerings). I try to get here as often as I can. My minutes are 5g per month which works out to about 15-20 minutes per day. FB, Amazon, hotmail, gmail, and F.A. Grave...it's tough. This is my favorite spot though. I have a friend from high school on here Lynda J. Prunier. She died in South Windsor, Connecticut from a New York drunk diver. He killed 4 kids, and parallelized one from the neck down just before Thanksgiving of 1972. It's painful to go there. She was the one of the very few that were friendly to me moving there from Westchester, New York. She deis on the way to the hospital...17 years old. I feel so bad sill. She missed everything in life...no photo of her. The rest of her family passed away. She is next to hr mom and dad. Her brother died of cancer and is somewhere else. They were just a hard working family struggling. The guy that hit her, well, he did 5 years, but the word was very little insurance.

Bless you, Kate, for leaving that April 19th flower on the grave memorial of Tiny Zessin. Your generous encouragement is so appreciated. Love to you and yours this springtime,
