I have suggested many corrections, most are appreciated, some are not. I do not wish to offend anyone, I am not trying to point out other's errors (I've made more than my fair share), my goal is to improve memorials. What better way to begin to honor someone than by having the name correct on the memorial!

This actually shows no change-so I am wondering why you took my time?"
The edit system does not submit "no change" suggestions for review, if you receive a suggestion something on the memorial is different.

A first, accused of changing memorial to be incorrect so I can come back and correct!
"...I know for a fact that this memorial was entered correct & someone else changed it. And the most guilty looking party is you! There are some that I could make mistakes on, but never this one. That sir is why some including myself do not appericate what you are doing!"
If you encounter such a nefarious act or any other perceived egregious action report to [email protected].

"When you have eliminated all which is impossible, then whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth."
Arthur Conan Doyle, The Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes

"It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit."
Harry S. Truman

From a fellow contributor:
Joe,
Isn't it weird that there are nearly 1/2 million FAG contributors, and we all do different jobs.

You do Quality Control
I do full cemetery photographic inventories
An 85 year old woman I know does research & family linking.
Other people only do photo requests.
Most people input electronic obituaries.
Some people skedaddle around spreading flowers.

We all do different jobs, but somehow we are very productive.

A couple of my thoughts:
We do our part to best honor those that have gone before us and help others, if they so wish, to do the same.
I don't know that suggesting corrections, based on the marker, to give a memorial the best chance to be found would be "Quality Control," but ok.

God grant me patience, NOW!

AutoCorrect / AutoFill are not my friends.
