My ONLY intention is to create a HISTORICAL RECORDING of those who are "Gone, but not Forgotten" before their tombstones are lost forever and if that helps YOU find your family, super! |
My paternal gggrandfathers were Alexander Allen (m. Nancy Adeline Branson) AND William Irvin Brewer. Alex Allen lived in Long, OK and died in 1915 in Muldrow, OK. My maternal gggrandfathers were Albert Lafayette Rogers buried in King Cemetery, Franklin Co, Arkansas and John Henry McGee.
Thanks to Teena Cantrell for helping me find my great-great-great grandparents John Pitcher and Polly Allen. And Thanks to Alvin Derby and Betty Taylor Thompson for helping me find Camp Meeting Cemetery where they are buried! What a treasure you are!!! All information about Camp Meeting Cemetery is by John Albert Burnett in the 1920's.
Thanks so much to Linda Creamer Furr who passed away June 2012 and Linda from Arkansas for all the biographical information on my entries in Franklin County, Arkansas. All obituaries or other information are credited to "The Johnson County Graphic", the "Sallisaw County Times" newspaper archives, Times Record Online, Agent Funeral Home, Sallisaw, Ok and Ancestry.com.
Remember me, as you pass by,
As you are so was I.
As I am you soon will be.
Prepare in Life for Eternity.
Oh Yeah, Meet you at the East Gate!!!

Thanks for your reply. You are my husband's 2nd 1/2 cousin. John Bell and Andrew were living with Owen and Roxy in the 1910 census probably while Roxy was carrying the twins (infant McGee).

Thank you for your reply. I had believed she was the daughter of Caroline Griffith and wanted a confirmation. Anne

Thank you so much for the prompt addition of the edits. I appreciate it very much! Pat
|Anne O'Neal||Anna Griffith|
Do you know any history on Anna? Thanks, Anne O'Neal
|Laurie McGee||Infant, McGee|
Wow I found a picture of a headstone you shot in the Antioch Cemetery of Infant, McGee Infant of O.H. McGee and Roxie McGee. On the bottom of the photo it says d/o......Does it say on the headstone somewhere that this was a famale or male and is there a name? O.H McGee is Owen Haney McGee, my husband's grandfather. This child was born the same day as their son LeeRoy so it had to be his twin.We never knew about this child. If you know ANY if I'd love to know.

I'd like to do the memorial for Millbury Donald. I have all the necessary information on my Ancestry account. How do I begin?
|Cemetery Lady||Your Work|
I must say "You are so kind and generous"! Thank you for accepting all of the edits I've sent you. If more people were like you it would be a better world. Your photographs are always sharp and Find A Grave is lucky to have you as a volunteer. Thank you for your help.
|David McClellan||Just a Simple Thank You!|
In the past couple of years, I have found your name on most of the memorials of my relatives in Franklin and Crawford Co. Ark. I am so truly in your debt for all the work you have done, that has made my quest so much easier. I thank you..David
