I have taken an interest in the tiny Combs cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas. I intend to transcribe all the graves there. I am being assisted by my sister, Sharon Hayman. We do this in memory of our mother, Sally Shanks Smith, and so many of our other ancestors, known and unknown -- gone but not forgotten.
Combs Cemetery Fayetteville Some time between August 21st, 2014 and December 2014, the cemetery sign over the entrance to Combs Cemetery was pulled down, or someone hit the stone post and knocked it down. At any rate, both stone posts now need replaced and the metal "Combs Cemetery Sign" needs replaced. Also, please note that the Washington County Inmates are no longer cleaning Combs and there is no longer a Combs Cemetery Association. Someone needs to organize a new cemetery association.
Orville Odain Graham This is my stepgrandfather. My grandmother couldnt afford a tombstone and she is gone now. My aunt went to this cemetery and walked it but couldnt find not even a rock with his name on it. Do you have a exact location of where he is buried in this cemetery? Or do you know of a book with the plots laid out in it? I would appericate any help with this matter.
Richard Best Mr. Bogard, you don't happen to know this gentleman's family do you? I have posted a number of memorials without knowing who the people were, but I thought I would ask. I am trying to get in touch with his daughter, Alicia. Added by Scott Smith on Mar 02, 2013 8:38 PM
