I live in the North GA mountains and love it. My favorite pastime is roaming cemeteries and taking pics, not just for myself but for others.
Always excites me when it helps someone who is unable to get it themselves. Glad to help, and if you need transfers or anything, don't hesitate to ask. I'll be glad to help you any way I can.

My lines in Franklin County and Banks County are Kesler/Segars/Cheek/Norton. Barrow County, GA - Attaway/Peppers/Greeson/Cheek.

Bill Gillespie
Are you a relation of Bill Gillespie? He was a wonderful man and helped me so much 30 yrs ago with my genealogy research on my family in Commerce/Winder Georgia. The Lord/Gober/Cox side etc. I really miss Bill.

Thanks for the transfers Pat.

Are you related to the Gillespies of Franklin County GA? I seem to remember the name from either my mother or my grandparents talking about the family. I am regretting not paying attention when they sat around and talked about family and so forth; But, I had no basis to lock anything into memory since I didn't grow up in the area.

RE: Nora Whitfield Murray
Hi, Pat - I understand. I'm a Whitfield descendant, so why don't you just ask for or get your cousin to ask for transfer of Joe Murray and keep him with Nora. I'm related to Nora, not Joe. Thanks very much, Nancy

Kesler memorials
Hi Pat, it's been a while since we last exchanged messages. ;-)
Yes, I am related to the Keslers, but the ones I transferred are more direct to you than me. I believe our common Kesler would be William Henry (1780-1856) and his wife. They were my 4th great-grandparents by their daughter Sarah (born in 1815 and married Harmon Gable/Gabrell). The family last name was changed by several of the children and I haven't locked it down yet. Which would make us 4th(?) cousins?
If you'd like to share info on the Keslers directly, send me an email to let me know.

re: William and Zibiah LeCroy
Ok, I think I got it right this time, in the narrative and the burial information for both William John and Zibiah. Please let me know if you see anything else I need to correct. Since I am currently working from my Android phone, the small screen can make it difficult to spot any errors. Thank you for your assistance which helps me to maintain accurate information in these and other memorials. Linda
