Bio Photo "Close to my heart you'll always be - Genealogy is the connection to you and me!"

Your tombstone stands among the rest, neglected and alone. The name and date are chiseled out on polished, marbled stone.

It reaches out to all who care, it is too late to mourn. You did not know that I exist, you died, and I was born. Yet each of us are cells of you, in flesh, in blood, in bone. Our blood contracts and beat a pulse, entirely not our own.

Dear Ancestor, the place you filled, one hundred years ago, spreads out among the ones you left, who would have loved you so.

I wonder if you lived and loved, I wonder if you knew, that someday I would find this spot, and come to visit you. (Author Unknown)

BTW for those of you sending all the corrections regarding only one name in the first block of records for searching ease, even when the individual has 3 or 4 names, as in good Catholics who always have Marie or Joseph in their names (which is usually the first name) - be careful what you ask for - I'm working on the corrections, however if you search on Marie or Joseph now you get over 2,500 of my names alone. Good luck finding the individual you are looking for, especially if it's Marie and you don't know how many times she married. I find those of you insistent on this interesting - especially as Find A Grave refuses to fix my husband's relative who has no first name - his name is Spotted Tail and because he's famous his record is handled by management - they have Spotted for his first name and Tail for his last name. Not CORRECT, but what the heck, it fits in the box.

Emma Simard Fournier
This is a copy of a message I received from someone re: Emma Simard Fournier #107792857

"FYI . . . her obit is in the Biddeford Journal dated February 3, 1955 . . . my subscription has expired at so I am unable to read the entire obit . . . she is NOT the person who died in October in Texas . . ." you have access to the Biddeford journal for that date by any chance?

Baptism Names
Hi Suki...I noticed that you're using the Baptism name for quite a few of the French Catholic families in Maine...meaning a Marie for the girls and a Joseph for the boys in front of their actual you think this causes confusion as well as duplicates? Your thoughts?

RE: Teresa Harrison
I added the 1900 census with Teresa and her family and her marriage certificate to Francis Harrison. I would appreciate it you would add her parents now.

Teresa Harrison
She is my husband's grandmother and a lot of it is info passed from generation to generation. I have Francis Harrison's obit that has Teresa Costello as his spouse. Her name is Teresa Katherine Costello. Her father John Costello came from Ireland and married Hanora Kiniry later in life. I'm trying to get HANORA's find a grave memorial updated also. I have a census that has John, Nora and all the children if you need that. Probably more, I don't have time right now to dig it out. Thank you April

Leo Raymond Gosselin (1920 - 1984)
Dear Suki,

I am trying to confirm which 'Leo Gosselin' was in fact married to my Aunt,
Georgianna Boucher Gosselin. I noticed that she is listed as his wife in this
entry. Could you share with me how you discovered that this particular Leo was
Georgianna's husband?

In fact, I would appreciate any information you have about either or both of them.
Thank you in advance for any information you can provide. If you prefer, feel free to contact me at this email:
