Georgia (Decatur, DeKalb, Fulton, Cobb, and now Cherokee County) has been home for two thirds (most) of my life. Two sons, three granddaughters, and three grandsons, all of whom are Georgians. |
An Amarillo, Texas native (and 10 yr. native of Fort Worth); seven generations removed from Patrick and Margaret McCullough Phinney of Chester (District)County, SC, dating from 1786.
History at times surpasses genealogy as the greater interest. This site is a compilation of stories from individuals responsible for that history, never ceasing to improve with each addition.
Paternal Lineage: Phinney, Crosser, Wright, McCullough
Maternal Lineage : Daniel, Newman, Talley, Magee

Wes, I didn't know you were related to some of the Edmondson and Daniel families. I would not have asked for transfers. I thought you were primarily a photographer. Thanks for your contribution to the Hittson Cemetery.

Wes, thank you so very much for photographing and adding many memorials from the Hittson Cemetery in Palo Pinto, TX to Find a Grave. Would you mind transferring the memorials to me so I can add their families and stories? We are all related. I am working diligently to publish for The Hittson Project, including all living cousins who care deeply for these ancestors.
Thank you for the transfer!

Hi Wes, Well, to add even more confusion to Melinda's age in 1850 Brown Twp, Union, AR she's only 20. I fell the 1860 is more close to be right then any. And Mary is 11.
Daughter Mary appears to have married 1 Rufus Stiles in Columbia County. Disappears for 1860, and reappears m. to W H Rowland in Cleborn, Johnson, TX right in the midst of the Andersons, with several Rowland children and 3 Stiles kids, next to Alfred and Virginia Peacock.

I put her line there on the right hand side of the page. May go to the internet and look for the Nansemond Hunter site. All you have to do is type the Words, Same for the Battle Book for William Battle and wife Sarah Hunter. Just type the words. Thank you for reading this and you hard work on findagrave.com

The divorce decree between Colon C.L. Voyles age 31, and Audley William Voyles, age 34, dated 13 Dec 1950 shows that they were married on Sept 28, 1948 in Nottoway county, VA. Their marriage lasted 1 month, they had no children.
Ernest Haentzschell Lail was my nephew's wife's grandfather by his 2nd wife. They divorced and both remarried. Since I am not related to Colon Adell Cook Lail Voyles Wiley Bridgeman, I will leave the memorial's maintenance in your capable hands. Thank you for putting the memorial on Find-A-Grave.
