I am happy to transfer relatives within the guidelines of the Find A Grave website. However, you mustprovide your Find A Grave contributor number and tell me how you are related. (Being a "family member" does not fit into that guideline.) If you do not, I more than likely will ignore your request. While I usually comply with requests within a day or two, sometimes I am away from my home and unable to do so. Remember, please, we have 30 days.
Being only human, I may make mistakes:=). I am more than happy to make corrections, links, etc. In return, I only ask that others delete their duplicates of memorials I have created.
AGAIN, please use the edit tab on the memorial page to request links, etc. It saves you time by providing the information automatically to me; and it saves me time in making the transfer. Those requests are filled first, others that are emailed are done as time allows.
I'm going to try to make a request of contributors one more time ... please DO NOT POST DEATH CERTIFICATES on memorials that I manage. I feel it is in very poor taste. I will post most information from the death certificate in the bio when requested. Another request I will once again make: Please DO NOT make memorials for unknown locations. (this type of memorial usually does not show up in searches) If the individuals were cremated, you can make that distinction. I will no longer link to unknown burial locations.
