My Family first appear in
Jasper Co., MS with Andrew Read and Mary Hiskins both born in Old England per Headstones and, are both buried in Paulding Cemetery, Paulding, Jasper Co., MS. When they arrived in Paulding, they opened Read's General Store,abt. 1845
Their Granddaughter Rennie Read married James Bruce Traylor, my Great-Grandparents, buried in Old James Cemetery. His grandfather, James Edward Traylor buried in Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. Located between Rose Hill & Montrose in Jasper Co., MS.
My father Rev. T. D. Traylor now deceased is buried in Hickory Grove Cemetery with my Mother Katie Meryle Pace Traylor, in Laurel, Jones Co.,MS. I live in Silas, AL. | |
