I'm a wife, mother of two, new Mother in Law, keeper of the fur babies, and enjoy not only genealogy, but scrapbooking, amateur radio and traveling.
Areas of research include Southern Illinois, Arkansas, Missouri, Michigan, Canada, Germany, Wales, and Cherokee Indian Nation in Oklahoma. I have been working on our family history since Jan 2008.
I will post my photos to families and their memorials first. Family belongs to Family.... they are not just "numbers" to us. Any requests for transfers of relatives will be gladly honored - no matter what the connection.
Keeping the memories of our ancestors alive is something we should all strive for - our history is something to embrace!

Some of the other requests for Mt Hope did not have the burial location and I must have overlooked it in the Darmstaedter requests. Sorry

Megan__ Thank you so very much for these Von Ende transfers. Hopefully Joseph & Barbara will lead to a discovery connection to Christian & Louisa von Ende.
Sure enjoy reading your Bio and appreciate that you regard grave memorials as someone's Family loved ones rather than an old bones number count for name collectors & grave hoarders.
Appreciate your time, work & contribution to Find-A-Grave.

Thank you Megan. I work for the Cols. Georgia Public Library in the Genealogy department. I have been adding cemetery records for a while now over my concerns for periodicals sometimes being weeded out because of lack of use or space for new genealogical books. I believe that the older periodicals are a great source as sometimes the graves deteriorate over time and the older records may be the best source of information. I try to be careful not to duplicate, but sometimes because of the changing of names & county lines being so close to the cemeteries, it makes it difficult. Thanks for your message.

Thanks for your effort on this, I appreciate it. I actually got the burial info from his Death Certificate. If he is not buried there, then the certificate must be wrong, or there is another cemetery in the area with the same name. I don't have the cert in front of me right now, but will take another look at it when I get home.
|Angela Owens Jando||So kind!|
That was so kind of you to write nice things on my wall. Sure beats reading crabby posts! :) Thank you, also, for all that you do! I am amazed at the time you put in to help other people locate their family members!
It is people like you that make F.A.G. such a wonderful community!
