Posting mostly my own direct lineage, And love the hunt for all relatives of mine. I've been researching for many years and have found it like a great history book that I can't put down. Hope anything that you find that I post or respond to helps you find your Loved Ones. UPDATE. While searching for Relatives of my wife or mine I will occasionally add things I come across to findagrave for others to find that they may never see in their research. also when I have extra time I will do Photos of local cemeteries. Any photos that I post to findagrave are free to use in any genealogy program etc. that you may wish to use them in. Please be respectful enough to credit my efforts, as I would be to yours. | |

 | No Alleys listed for Woodbine--please remove or correct In the obit for George Alley, I noticed that there would be a spring interment, suggesting cremation had occurred. Sometimes family members don't always get the job done (that happened in our family--the surviving spouse sort of liked keeping the box in the house, and then went on to survive several decades). The other thing is the letter I sent for Clara Alley: I was trying to find this grave so I could take a photo of the headstone, and called both Fouts Funeral Home and the Woodbine Sexton, and neither had any listing for any Alleys at all. Does this name belong in the Woodbine Cemetery? Perhaps you could remove the memorial, unless you know for sure Clara and George are buried there (and then it would be a serious kindness to contact Fouts 712-647-2221 and the sextons Joe and Connie 712-647-2804. Sometimes burials are privately made in family plots, particularly with cremains, and it would be a shame to have somebody else buried right on top of the urn just because nobody let the gravediggers know. Sextons from different cemeteries have said that is an increasingly common worry and occurrence. Thanks!Added by MrsB on Jun 03, 2013 8:46 AM | | | Peter Morgan
 | Ida & Henry York Ben,
It was a rainy day, so the photo of Henry's half of the marker did not come out too well. I uploaded it anyway, and will retake it when I am in the area again.

 | Rev. Isaac Case - Readfield Rev. Isaac Case is buried in Case Cemetery (may know it as Barber Cem) in East Readfield. NOT Readfield Corner. Would appreciate you taking care of that correction. Thanks! | | | Rose Ramsey

 | Clipping on Belle Simmon's death Thank you for posting this very helpful clipping -thanks to you I now know her family's names! If you know of any clippings on my ggrandfather Caleb Moncrief who died in Cincinnati but is buried in Augusta it might help us solve the mystery of his death. | | | Darlene Sides
