Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've lived in Acushnet, MA. since 1958.
My parents, maternal grandparents and several aunts and uncles are at Pine Grove Cemetery in New Bedford so I started adding to the entries there to aid others researching their genealogy and got hooked on photographing stones and adding to the data here.
I've also been posting most of the headstone photos I take on Ancestry.com, under the name Trinka5364, into a public tree called Find A Grave research.
This should help users of both sites add them to their trees and at least when copied from the tree, the photo is attributed to me. I find it irritating when I see photos I've posted to memorials here have been added to Ancestry.com with no acknowledgement that they were copied.

Please don't hesitate to ask for a transfer of any relative of yours that I've entered, no matter how distantly related.

Thank you so much for your reasonable answer and even more for the pictures of all those stones and the relationships that you had to research. You are an angel.

Hi DJ,

Do you know who is entombed in the crypt at the Sherman - Howland - Devoll site at Rural Cemetery?

I put the number of Emily Howland in the subject box so you could pull up the photo of the structure.

Thank you so much for all those photos of the surrounding stones. Hope you can answer my question.

Just wanted to say thank you for adding a headstone picture to my memorial for Mary Etta Ashton from the old cemetery in New Bedford. I knew that one existed but had never seen it before.
Thanks again

Hi Donna,

Thanks for linking the memorials and the compliment. Yes, that stone was quite a mess, and I had to go over it a few times to get most of that moss off.

If it's really o.k. with you, you can go ahead and do a transfer. Thanks, I appreciate it. It's great working with you in all this!

Thanks, Janet

Donna,
Thanks for your message and thank you for helping Barbara out. I was glad she decided to join Find A Grave and be able to manage her own ancestors memorial. Thanks for all you do to help others.
