William Thomas Graham
Brenda,

My name is Jo Ann Graham Smith and I am a granddaughter of William Thomas Graham. Your grandfather, Gus, is my uncle. My father is Joe Hamilton Graham, who lived in Wilburton, OK until he died in November 1966. I have many memories of Uncle Gus coming to visit at our home.

There are some of your grandfather's and my father's siblings missing from Grandpa Graham's memorial. George was one of the older boys and Beatrice was the baby girl. Neither of them are on the memorial. I have information about Aunt Beatrice but, so far, have not been able to find anything on George.

I moved to Coweta in 2007, and since then I've met some of our relatives in Bixby (Uncle John's decendents).

RE: Johnson, Benjamin
From the information I have, Benjamin Franklin Johnson (1855-1926) who is buried at Fleetwood Cem, Sequayah Co., OK, was the son of William Monroe Johnson (1822-1895) - different dates than the William M. Johnson 103882385 buried at Stilwell. The William Monroe Johnson I have who married Jaley Asbell, was the son of Younger Johnson (1792-1875) according to the information I have. William and Jaley also named one of their sons Younger Johnson (born about 1845). I don't know where William and Jaley are buried but they died in OK.

RE: Isaac Johnson
Great! You belong to a Virginia family with *alot* of history. Martha Bassett married Philip Johnson in Prince Edward county 18 Oct 1792. She died in 1800 in North Carolina, probably in Cherokee county. Isaac was her son. She died in giving birth to his brother.
One of her brothers was *Burwell*, #87450396 *his children are attached to his wife, Mary Hunter Bassett #103140412* - this is my line.
Have you heard of the Bassett Furniture Company (nationwide)? It was established by the sons of Alexander Hunter Bassett #61518351, Mary Bassett Johnson's nephew.
There is much information available online about this family. I have little time now, but will be back with you later today. Meanwhile, if you look at the people in Bassett Cemetery, Bassett, Henry County, Virginia you will be related to all of them. Go there using Burwell's # (above).
Welcome to a huge family!
Annie
