Amateur genealogist seeking to collect and preserve family history, and photographer with a digital camera. I enjoy riding my Honda Helix, collecting family history and 'graving'. |
See my Virtual Cemeteries for my families of interest.
I add memorials of unrelated individuals I discover in newspaper obituaries if: names, locations and dates might link them to my family tree; and/or advanced age, and/or an interesting obit.
Individuals are welcome to borrow my photographs and to use them for non-commercial purposes that fall within the rules and guidelines of Findagrave.com provided ownership source is clearly acknowledged in each instance AFTER obtaining prior permission.
A very hearty and warm THANK YOU to anyone who is able to add a photo or additional information to any of the memorials I have created! Most of all, thank you for catching my 'fat fingers' mistakes.

Thanks for the information on Margie and Clara! I had no idea they were sisters until talking to my mother recently. They are both her aunts by marriage from different sides of the family.

I added the marriage date to her memorial. However, there are 5 James Johnson's at that cemetery and I don't know which one was her husband. If you do, let me know and I'll link her.
|Pam Cairns Palmer||RE: John Conner at Cane Creek|
I may have made a new discovery yesterday at Cane Creek. Some of the stones that have been flipped over, I wasn't able to raise by my self. My son is going to go with me (wanted to go tomorrow...but raining here) and we are going to gently raise the stones. I will let you know if I find him.

Thank you so much for the kind words. There have been a couple of men that have taken most of the pictures of this cemetery. Glenn Rhodes and David Schram. They have done an excellant job of it. Some of us try and get the memorials up and complete lists of the folks in the cemetery. There is another website some people put together as well for the cemeteries in this area.
You might go there as well and check out to. Both sites are great in finding lost relatives. Good luck with your search.
