I love my family! From the family I see every day to the ones I have never had a chance to meet. Family is important. I enjoy searching for information that links me to my family that I never got to meet.
I take pictures of old graves. If I post of those kin to you please send me an EDIT request and I will transfer to you... unless they are my family. If they are my kin then lets get together and work on it together!
My family lines I am working on:
Slatton / Slaton / Slatten / Slaten / Slayton

I too am not having much luck with Nora. My dad had told me before he passed that her name was Nora Brown. I see on find a grave that it's Nora Barnes.
I had found Mama Dollie's marriage license in the Sylva County Courthouse 20+ years ago. That's when I found out her middle name was Minerva. She was sorely disappointed when I ragged her about it being so top secret for a very long time.
She lived with or very near us for most of my childhood. I'll send you all the documents I have and or links to them via the internet.
Search as I may I can't find a divorce record at all and I know my Grandfather Joseph Claude Wiggins was married to Ina Mae Land and they had 6 children together after Mama Dollie.
I could ramble on for days... I'll send you what I have. I will be happy to share the tree with you too if you'd like.

Hi, I have much information on the Wiggins family if you are interested. Richard Slayton and his wife Nora are the parents of my Grandmother, Dollie M Slayton Wiggins.
|Jeff Barefoot||RE: Page Cemetery|
Thanks for any help you can give. The cemetery was described by Hugh B. Johnson in 1959. That was a long time ago and the landmarks he gave to describe the cemetery's location I'm sure have changed a lot since then. I was in Wilson County a few months ago and thought I'd try to track it down. I knew it would be a long shot given the time I had. I did find a cemetery that seemed to match Johnson's description. The land was posted no trespassing so I wasn't able to walk it over. There was a large house next door. It was a weekday and nobody was at home.
The directions to the cemetery are: travelling north on Hwy 301 from Wilson toward Elm City, you turn right onto Rosebud Church Road. The cemetery was on the left side of the road about 2/10 mile down. It was visible from the road a few hundred feet along the edge of the woods. There's a farm road by a barn that passed by the cemetery. It may just be a wild goose chase, but if you are in the area and can catch somebody at home to ask permission to check it out, that may be the Page Cemetery. I live in Boone NC and don't get down that way very often.

|J. L. Cobb||RE: Cobb Cemetery Wilson Co., NC|
Thank you for the offer to take pictures of the Cobb markers. I live in Kentucky and uncertain of the location of the cemetery. Living in Kentucky, I am unable to visit the cemetery, thus the reason for requesting photos of the markers. I will try to find the location of the cemetery and get directions to cemetery. Sincerely, Jamey
