|I lived 18 years of my life in Pleasants County, WV...married then lived in Parkersburg for many years. Living in North Carolina now it means so much that I can go online and see my family and friends graves in West Virginia. I am trying to locate as many records of the Pinkerton Family,Maston, Kelley and Malone's... mine was located in Pleasants County and all over WV, came here from Ohio and PA....I add a few graves here and there trying to link them all together, and I'm doing genealogy as I go. Husband's family were the Fulmers in Wood County,Tyler County, who came here from PA, working on them also.|
Husband is retired Army, spent over 22 years in it, my 3 sons have all served in Iraq, my son in law served in Desert Storm, I'm very proud of my military family.
I may have left WV 20 years ago, but it will always be my home, one I am very proud of.
I think everyone who's passed away should be recognized, too many are left with no names, maybe I can help in some small way by doing this and leaving virtual flowers on those with none.
If a family member object's to a memorial and or photo that I have posted, please let me know and I WILL REMOVE IT...but please understand that all info I have is all public information that has already been put out!

If you get the chance to watch Jonny Kennedy, the boy who's skin fell off on you tube, PLEASE PLEASE DO..I promise you will laugh and cry and be touched forever by this incredible human being.

As a child, I recall "distant" family member visiting us in Ohio by the name of Harry WHITESIDE. I have no clue how they are related, but I am sure they are. I came across the photos of headstones on this site. Thank you and if you know of a "Finsley" connection, please email me.
|Roberta Wilson||Laub & Boman Families in Ohio|
Hello. My name is Roberta Wilson. I have been doing some research on my mother's family who lived in Ohio. The family name is Boman (Bowman).
I have visited West Buffalo Cemetery on numerous occassions. (Quite a few of my Boman relatives are buried at West Buffalo including my grandparents.)I remebered seeing gravesites for the Laub Family.
My Great, Great, Great Grandparent's George and Christina Boman knew the Laub Family.
I found the following narrative regarding the Boman Family and the Laub Family:
In the year 1835 George and Christina (Hockenbarger) Boman, with their children left Doylestown, Wayne County, Ohio and journeyed to the northwestern part of Blakeslee. At the time the Bomans came from Wayne County, the family of William Laub also made the journey and located on a farm adjoining the Boman farm on the east.
The above information was taken from a "Standard History of Williams County, Ohio Vol 2." - by Charles Bowersox.

Hi Betty Lou,
You have posted some awesome info on the memorial of Absalom DeGarmo, #88750103. I have been trying to find Absalom & his siblings for a long time, but they really scattered. I think you may be connected through Amanda Pinkerton (Absalom's 2nd wife) however the detailed info you have on this memorial is info from children of his first wife, Priscilla. Would you please be willing to contact me and (hopefully) share where you found all this info? I would be very grateful. :)

Hello, thank you for posting Bill's page. Can you make me manager for him? He was my husband's step dad. Thanks. #90312841
