|Angelina Wilson||Alexander Gates|
Hi, I see you are the grand daughter of Alexander Gates. I am also related. His uncle Thomas H. Gates married Mary Ann Wilson. I saw your picture. I am going to save it for my genealogy. Is there anything you can tell me about the family? It says Alexander was born in Scotland. I would think he was born in MA as his father was. I know his grandfather also Alexander went back to Northern Ireland at some point and died there in 1915. Do you have memorials on here for other family members? Do you have more pics? I have one of Thomas. It is not very good. There is a family resemblance between the two. email@example.com

Thanks for adding the photos and the note on George Smart. I got the names added here and most of the plot locations. Next on the agenda is putting all headstones on here. I had good intentions of having them posted by now, but roads are paved with good intentions. If you have any other notes, feel free to add them or drop me a line. I did get a picture of Lizzie Cumming loaded that I received from Kris.

My pleasure Jean. I spoke to the cemetery manager today and it could have been a typo but they have her down as Gerta, not Greta. She was buried on May 31, 1930, so that coincides with her death. Thought you would want to know they do have this record, even though she's not listed on the stone itself.

The cemetery manager said this was the correct grave, but there were no records of the burial. Perhaps it was a cremation? If you want me to get more records from the town, please let me know.
|Peg Brown||Greta Kangas|
Greta Kangas is buried in Glenwood Cemetery - but not listed on the headstone - along with Antti Kangas (1892-1960), Lempi E. Kangas (1893-1975), Martti Kangas (1917-1985), Onerva Elma Kangas (1918-1983), and two stillborn infant males (1951, 1952).
