|Most of my ancestors were early settlers of Kentucky who migrated from Virginia and Maryland. |
Direct line surnames on my father's side include Holsclaw, Snawder, Harshfield, McDaniel, Buckman, Jones, Paulley, and Collins. My father's ancestors settled in Nelson, Bullitt, and Hardin Counties. Some family members later moved to Jefferson County.
Direct line surnames on my mother's side include Dennis, Taylor, Logsdon, Haycraft, Atterberry, Elliott, Wells, Richardson, Saltsman, and Craddock. My mother's ancestors settled in Grayson, Hart, Larue, and Hardin Counties. Some family members later moved to Jefferson County. A few wayward family members crossed the river and settled in Floyd and Harrison Counties in Indiana.
I also like to take time to pay respect and honor all veterans when I visit cemeteries in my area.

|JJ||Dennis Family Grave|
You have a picture of the Dennis family Cemetery. Where is this located? I am looking for the grave of my Great Grandfather Robert Case, died 1912. All my surviving family knows is that it is a "family cemetery in Anderson". I've tracked down 2 Case Cemetery's one on Puncheon Creek Rd and this one (it has more recent Case relatives in it). I am going to be in the area in a few weeks and I would like to see if we can locate him. It always bothered my great grandmother that she would not be with him. She died in 1988 and is buried in Maysville. So I would at least like to know where he is. Thanks

|Dani Cash||Julia Badger Cash/ Badger Cemetery|
I'm wondering if you could do a photo request in Durby at the Badger Cemetery. I've had it posted as a photo request for such a long time. I've contacted another contributor by the name of Wally but he is no longer in the area. Memorial# 122430719 is my husbands grandmother Julia Cash. I have no space or lot number. Any thing will be helpful.
Please and thank you!
|Ruth Fox||Jesse McDonald|
I don't know if you live close to Bardstown KY, but you took a picture of the gravestone of Jesse McDonald In the Pioneer Cemetery of Bardstown. It is an old tombstone. Is it possible to get a rubbing of the date of birth and date of death? My records show his death about 1846-1846 as his will was dated 1847. Any help would be most appreciated. Warm Regards, Ruth Fox

|Vickye Blatherwick||Kasey Cemetery, Hardin County Kentucky|
I think that Kasey Cemetery (Hardin County, Kentucky_ is the same cemetery as
Grandview Cemetery (Breckinridge County, Kentucky)
your memorial for Florentine Brown seems to be the same person in both cemetieries.
Could you please check out your memorials for that cemetery. Thanks. I just stumbled upon this today and have no answer for it, except,
at some point Find A Grave needs to straighten out the name and location of the cemetery. I would appreciate hearing from you...your thoughts??

Do you mind changing her mother's name in your narrative to "Mary Alice" not Mary Ann? Mary Alice was my great great grandmother.

|Roxanne and Charlie||Sarah Stivers gravestone|
I just came across your photo of Sarah Stivers gravestone. She is my Great grandmother. I took a photo of her marker several years ago, but it had so much crud on it , it is hard to make it out. How did you clean it up, to get such a good clear picture ?
Thank you !

I am Henry's great great granddaughter. I was wondering if you would be willing to help me locate his headstone. When I was a teenager I remember seeing it on top of the ridge between Bearcamp Road and Brooks Hill Road. I am on find a grave or you email me at email@example.com. All help would be appreciated.
