I found our daughter's memorial here, Kristi CHAGNON, and was surprised, and grateful, that someone took the time to do that. If you'd like to stop by and visit with Kristi, just use this link. She is a wonderful soul. I'm certain she is still here with us.|
Now I find strolls through quiet cemeteries to be relaxing -- while hopefully being helpful to someone researching their family. I was never awkward wandering cemeteries, but now I do it with more purpose. It does bring me to a place of peace. It has also taught me a lot of those who have been here ahead of us. I try to keep my camera handy and research names that seem to have no connections so their memorials might be connected here.
My father was from Canada and my mom from Salem, Mass. (She enjoyed sharing that she went sledding on Gallow's Hill.) Her family was from Ireland. I have lived in New England nearly all of my life and have found neighbors to be friends that I'm able to visit -- even after moving to another community.
I enjoy helping folks to connect with their past. I am thrilled when I get a note of "I wondered where he/she was" or "I didn't know about him/her." So please share with me any thoughts you have.
Also, it is much easier making corrections if you use the appropriate tab on a memorial. I would appreciate if you can do that.

|Amanda Clark-Cram||Re: Ruth Staniels Cram and Belle Healey Staniels|
Yesterday, I put in a request to link Ruth to the correct burial for her mother Belle, but you refused because you said it would remove accurate data, however your data is not accurate. The other site has a picture of her tombstone with her husband and his other wife. I also just got off the phone with Ruth's son to confirm that his grandmother is buried at the cemetery in Croydon with her husband and his second wife. I will be putting in the request again and would like it very much if you would put it through to correct your misinformation of my husband's family. Thank you.
|Amanda Clark-Cram||duplicate enteries|
You have a Belle Marion Healey Staniels Find A Grave# 133183657, when her correct entry and burial plot is Find A Grave# 137792736. Could you please remove the first one? Thank you.
|Amanda Clark-Cram||double entries|
You have a Dorothy B Blake Young Find A Grave# 95633886, and a Dorothy B Young Find A Grave# 95736049. These two people are one and the same.
|EJ Wilhelmson/CA Gutierrez||Abigail Corthell|
You have an entry for Abigail Corthess b 1717 d 1752. There is no entry for the cemetery. I wondered if this means this individual is an ancestor? If she is, I'd be interested in sharing information about her. Thank you. - Evelyn
I added the additions you suggested. I am not related to the individual. I just live near the cemetery. If you are, I can transfer Arthur to you.

I added a picture for this person, you might want to update the birth info (shown on the monument).

Hi and thanks for the response. Yesterday, was the first time I was on the site and it was very interesting. I was a little confused at first about how to add the info, until I finally figured out that I had to create the new page and then link. Anyway, I'm sure I'll be poking around in there some more, but not sure how much time I'll have to devote to it. It is fun, though. Well, thanks again for your note, I really appreciate it!

Thank you for your note on the PILLSBURY graves at Riverside Cemetery. I have updated all of my entries with links and additional information found in original vital records at FamilySearch and Ancestry. I also verified the dates where our entries were different. Please let me know if you have any questions. Otherwise, I believe you may delete the duplicates. I updated a total of 8 graves: Albert Enoch Pillsbury, Antoinette A. Pillsbury, Elizabeth (Dinsmoor) Pillsbury, Elizabeth (Mooney) Pillsbury, Josiah Webster Pillsbury, Parker Webster Pillsbury, Elizabeth Dinsmoor (Pillsbury) Poole and Albert Pillsbury Phillips.

Your quite welcome. I'm not sure if I mentioned that Lucinda (69432406) is the daughter of Daniel and Mary (Polly) (Paige) Caldwell.
|Stone Finders||Henri Jacques.|
I did not make a mistake and put him in the wrong place. His name is on the stone in this cemetery.
