Thomas Peter Singer
Thomas Peter Singer was an only child and had no half or full siblings. His mother was Alice Shybekay but Emmanual Singer was NOT his father.

RE: Hawthorne Cemetery
Thanks Pat! I wanted to make sure I had checked with you first before submitting info to the forum to merge the two cemeteries. I so appreciate you checking on the cemetery info.

Hawthorne Cemetery
Hi Pat,

I realized awhile back that I had added a cemetery to Westchester County for the Unionville Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY. I wasn't aware that a name change had occurred. Apparently, the cemetery is now named the Hawthorne Cemetery. Then I realized that you had conscientiously added the same cemetery under the name Reformed Church Cemetery. I'm going to post to the forum to ask that they merge the two cemeteries. I don't live close enough to drive to see whether the cemetery has a sign. Are you aware of a sign and would you be able to photograph the sign if possible? You had so diligently photographed several of the graves which is wonderful! I wish I was in New York to join you. I will keep you posted as to news from findagrave. I suspect they will do a merge which will allow people to find the cemetery under its various known names. I gather that it is not being used for burials at this point as I have looked online to find no new information or a website for the cemetery.

RE: McGowan and Brunner Family
I found my grandfather's obituary with mass at the Church of St. Gregory The Great. Would they have 1947 records; he died at my aunt's home.
Also, I placed a photo request of aunt/uncle at St.Mary's but no volunteer has taken photos for a year. Thanks.

McGowan and Brunner Family
Hi Pat,
My grandparents, Joseph T. Brunner d. 1947; and Hannah Farrell Brunner,d.abt.1915; they lived in Harrison, New York. I have been unable to find their cemetery. Do you know of a cemetery near Harrison that I could research. No records through the clerk's office in that area.
Their daughter, Teresa A. McGowan and Husband,
Harry J. McGowan are buried at St. Mary's Cemetery in Rye Brook. Would it be possible to obtain photos of their gravestone(Memorial #
134580991 and 136369338. If you have any other photos of St. Mary's, I would appreciate them.
Thank you for your assistance. Carol

RE: Pierces at Chappaqua
Hi Pat,
I was just checking my wall messages and hope I responded to your message about adding more Pierce memorials. I will definitely check it out. My 4th great grandparents and 5th great grandparents (Pierces) are still an unknown burial out in Westchester County but I hope someday their burial sites will turn up. My great grandmother, Isabella Pierce Foshay, had no luck finding them which I discovered in her notes. Being Quakers, I gather some Quakers preferred a blank stone so who knows if that is the case. I am ever grateful for you and others who have diligently spent the time visiting and documenting graves.
