Bio

Genealogist, researcher, and Find A Grave Volunteer. The best advice I've realized is that talking with living family members is crucial. They often have information, records, photos, and stories to tell! The key is making the time to ask them and then be prepared to listen, take notes, take photos, digitally record their stories, do whatever helps you preserve what you learn. After years of researching and traveling to find and photograph gravesites of family members I am interested in helping others who have photo needs within our local area.

Your research may also benefit by searching the www.BillionGraves.com project. Volunteers are taking pictures (hundreds in one session) and immediately uploading them with GPS coordinates. This allows anyone to more easily locate their ancestors. Again, this is a volunteer driven effort.

My genealogy research lines include Germany, Ireland, Canada, Sweden, England, and numerous places in the United States. A few of the major surnames are: Schreiner, Sack, Schneider, Hoover, Tighe, Lazenby, Anders(s)on, Johans(s)on. Many immigrated from Germany, Ireland, Germany, and Sweden.

My best wishes to you as you research and search for your family's stories, histories, and photos.
