RE: Katherine Allen memorial 15418232
Thanks Debbie. I appreciate it.
What I usually do on my own memorials is go to the old memorial, download the picture from the old memorial to my computer, and then add the downloaded photo to the other memorial.
I have found this much easier than going back through the picture folder trying to find the photo again. Saves time and a lot of work.

Katherine Allen memorial 15418232
Wondering if you could add your tombstone photo that is on memorial 15418232 to the memorial for Katherine Avery 33279832
.
They were the same person.
Katherine or Kathryn was first married to Frank Allen.
Then married again in 1964 to Allen Avery.

Someone put a memorial for her on under Allen and someone put one on under Avery. The Avery memorial was put on first.

Thanks for your consideration.

Debbie, I think this memorial is a dup of 63877209. Please check it out. And the tombstone doesn't fit here either.
I would have sent it through the edit, but the not a robot didn't work.

RE: Alson Eddy
Hi Debbie,
I sure appreciate your efforts in my behalf. I have this information from my co-researcher who worked on this family years ago. She hadn't found his children, and I found them a few weeks ago.

In my records it shows that Alson W. Eddy who was Ida Allbert's husband died 15 Apr 1886 in Los Angeles, CA but he is buried in Oakwood Cem. in Macomb, IL. Date of burial is 25 Apr. 1886. My records show that he was born in 1850 which is questionable, no exact date with possible place of birth in Michigan. The little obit that I have from the Macomb Journal says that he had gone to CA about a year earlier for his health and that his wife Ida was enroute to CA when he died. The obit says he was about 40 years old.
Marlys Bias

He listed his birth place as MI on the 1880 census & his age as 30. They lived in Macomb, and he was a potter. His son Albert Alson Eddy b 1881 listed his father's birth place as Michigan on his census records. His and Ida's other child was a daughter, Delphine b 1878. Both children were born in McDonough County. The family moved to CA as he had planned and remained there.

I hope this helps!

Alson Eddy
Hi Debbie,
Alson is an unusual given name. I'm looking for the burial of Alson W. Eddy who married Ida Allbert.

Illinois Marriage Records:
EDDY, ALSON W ALBERT, IDA B
MC DONOUGH 06/06/1877 / 00001008

1880 Macomb, McDonough, IL
Eddy Alson W. 30 Potter MI NY CT
Ida 30 wife IL PA IL
Dell dau 1 IL MI IL

I thought I'd found him when I found your memorial, but the Alson you have is too young. Is there another buried in Oakwood? Are you related?

I assume you took his birth & age from his tombstone. I can't read the engraving on the photo.

Beginning in 1900 census Ida listed herself as a widow, and her listings in city directories show her as the widow of Alson W.

If you have any further information, I'd sure appreciate it, as this doesn't appear to be the person whose burial I'm seeking.

Thank you for the nice photo for Glen, I was afraid there would be no marker, so happy to see there is something there. Your photo is easy to read. Thanks for your time.
