|David Meldrum||Same Gt Grandfather|
I believe Robert Montgomery is a Gt Grandfather of ours. According to the 1901 census,your Grandfather Joseph and my Grandmother Agnes were siblings. I know my Grandmother lived in Carluke prior to being married. Kind regards,

I am inquiring as to whether you could help me with finding Wilson burials in the Wilton St Cemetery Carluke.
I live in New Zealand and need some help.
Hi Joe, got your message, but my return one bounced. Eunice

Thanks so much for adding the information on the Muircroft family. I have recently connected them to my Cairns family tree, and really do appreciate finding these additional pieces. Regards, Eunice

You are very welcome! I was confused by this stone. I saw that it had Pettigrew on the front and that it was a Jessie but had the wrong date for the one you had requested. So after I walked the whole cemetery, I went back to that stone because it was where Charles was supposed to be and that's when I saw there was another name on it. I had to look hard because it is wearing away but I saw it said Charles. I didn't want to put anything on it, but I about had to to see what it said. I also had to make a memorial for Jessie because for some reason she didn't have one. The stone says daughter of H. and JC. Is that the Hugh and Jessie that I did for your request? The middle initial is different. Also, Hugh and Jessie are to the right of Jessie and Charles' stone as you look at it in the picture. Glad I could help you out!
Thank you-it looks like I am safe in adding mine to yours-so to speak!
I trust you won't mind if I ask findagrave to rename it Penpont Parish Church?
