The most important card that I carry in my wallet is my Veterans ID card. !!!!!!!!!!
I specalize in babies (because they never got a chance) and veterans (because they gave us the chances that we have).

Thank you so much for all the work you've done in this little unknown cemetery. Your documentation has made it a lot easier for me to cross coordinate other family members buried in Dallas County. I bet that old man you spoke with down the street was my grandpa(98), another Henry Lee Adkison a US Navy man. Thank you again...Adriana

Thanks James, for the coordinates that you sent. I posted them to Find A Grave. In order to do you go to the cemetery home page and it is under Edit Lat/Lon. When you click that link you come to the page where you can enter the coordinates and then save them. Thanks for your help, David
I love that you're still thinking about the Petty Cemetery, maybe someday it will be cleaned up!
I see to have forgoten to thank you for the pictures you took at Mexia of the Moody family's headstones back in Feb. So, thank you. Sorry I am a little late in doing this.

Thank you so much for your reply. Unfortunately, his wife is not buried in that cemetery. I took the information from his death certificate that indicated he was buried in Dover Cemetery, Dawson, Texas on August 28, 1911. I have found no evidence of other relatives in that cemetery and I have found no burial for him in any cemetery in Texas or his birthplace in Arkansas. I truly appreciate the effort you've expended in assisting me with this search!

sorry I'm just now getting back to you, I have been taking care of my mom, she had an angiogram done and 2 stents put in, then I had a massive hemorrhage in my right eye and couldn't see for 3 weeks, just had surgery yesterday and regained my sight. thank you for everything you've done for me, I really appreciate you taking the time.

No, I did not "create" the cemetery for Find A Grave. If I know a cemetery has no photograph, I take one (or two) while I'm there to fulfill a grave photo request.

Thanks so much for attempting to fill my requests. I know how frustrating it can be at times to try to find a grave and then to realize that it is probably unmarked. I appreciate you trying and letting me know. Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip to GA. I guess you saw the snow yesterday. Hopefully the weather will be nicer the rest of your time in our state. I lived in Garland, Texas, for a short time in 1976 to 1977. I really liked it there. Take care and thanks again. Sandy Lyle Rakestraw
