I live in Weatherford, Texas. I was able to find information I needed for my family and now I would like to repay others for that help. |
I am trying to get pictures to complete Cemeteries in this area. If you need me to take pictures or release sites to you, please let me know. If you find a mistake on a site I will gladly correct it.

|LADONNA GREER COLLETT||Don Leslie Grimes|
Hi, Not sure what you want me to do on this memorial. This is the note you had sent me:
This is not the Don Grimes moved to another cem.
The tombstone photo you added to his memorial doesn't show any names,where they on the other
side ? His d/c shows he is buried in Whitt Cem.

Hello Elizabeth, I am so sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Thank you for the photo.I didn't add the one I took of their stone to Elizabeth's memorial,as I thought I'd wait for the death info to be added. After seeing your photo,I added that her death info was never added.

I'm so sorry you couldn't find James & Rachel Kidwell in Mt. Carmel, Parker County. I'm not sure what my source was that they were buried there. Looking on Ancestry, I found an item that said that James was buried "in Shady Grove or Mt. Carmel." That statement doesn't sound familiar to me, and I don't think I would create a memorial with such tenuous evidence. Wherever I got the idea that he was buried in Mt. Carmel, it would seem now that he & Rachel are in some unknown or unmarked location in Mt. Carmel, or in Shady Grove. He was well off and prominent in the community, so it doesn't seem like he would have an unmarked grave. I don't know how big Shady Grove is, but there are not many graves listed for it. It is abandoned, so it may not be fully transcribed. He was one of the main founders of Parker County, so it may have been a fairly early burial. Thanks for trying.
|Lisa Stalnaker||Thank you|
Thank you so much for the photograph to memorial #112787925 for Carrie Belle Dillon, a family member in my family tree. Greatly appreciate that you did so.

Thank you so much! for the listing and excellent photo of this little guy's headstone. He was my great-grandparents first child - they named him Edward Nelson. I've been doing genealogy for a couple of decades now and this is the first I've been able to locate his grave. Thank you very much!
|R . O. Higgins||Update|
Thank you for the information; the obituary states Simeon died at Colfax. I have updated the memorial.
|Tim Goodwin||RE: W Slack|
Thank you for the offer. I'd be happy to manage the memorial. It looks like this is W. H. Slack from the tombstone inscription - my gg grandfather and husband of Martha Goodwin Slack. The birth and death dates and location in Greenville all match.
Do you know why the memorial says "Wilbur Henry A. Slack" when the tombstone only has W. H. Slack?
Thank you and best regards.
