At the young age of 34, I have quickly become a very experienced genealogist. I absolutely love findagrave. In my opinion, findagrave is in the top 3 most important genealogy websites on the internet. I love traveling to visit cemeteries, and am willing to help anyone who asks. Some of my direct ancestors include: William Horace Hobson (1817-1867) of Fayette Co. TN, Rev. Robert Venable Taylor (1822-1919) of Fayette Co. TN, J.D.C. Stark (1819-1895) of Greene Co. OH, Samuel A. McDermott (1841-1897) of Knoxville TN, James White (1747-1821) founder of Knoxville TN, Woodard Bardin (1800-1867) of Wayne Co. NC, Daniel Alexander (1800-1852) of Russell Co. VA, Benjamin Dawson (1785-1850) of Kershaw Co. SC, William Hardy Hill (1821-1867) of Neshoba Co. MS, Eli Monroe Martin (1821-1874) of Hinds Co. MS, James Monroe Ayers (1852-1915) of Lafayette Co. MS, Capt. James Waldrop (1734-1799) of Newberry SC, Edward Hughes of Charleston SC, Gen. Joseph Hutton of Abbeville SC, Moses Peden (1787-1855) of Kemper Co. MS, John Thorne (1828-c1880) of Smith Co. MS, Joseph Posey (1805-1898) of Smith Co. MS.|
Please contact me if you have any of those in your family tree.

|Forever loved: Beatrice||RE: JOSEPH HOBSON|
I've never heard of a Joseph Hobson or that Grandma and Papa Newton ever adopting a son. They had ten of their own.
He could have been living with them and helping farm. In 1900 they only had three sons. Uncle M
Norman was born in 1900 and my Mother in 1902.
Sorry I can't help you.
Good searching...Beatrice Bennett.
|Vicki Carney||Missing daughter's names|
My grandmother Nola Preachers Henderson and another daughter Fay Henderson (had a second husband's name but I don't know it) were Amanda's daughters also.
I found the obituary at my mom's house this past weekend and posted it.
|Fran||Eldon L. Sheldon|
In attempting to fulfill a photo request for Mr. Sheldon (#83072161) I was informed by Lakewood that they have no record of him. I then did a state search on Find A Grave and found one Eldon L. Sheldon (same death date) buried at Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Newton, MS. Memorial # 93064715.
Thank you for all you do on this wonderful site!, Fran

Can you either transfer my aunt to me or can you at least link her to her mother Mary Sophia Heflin (111966245). Thanks,
|Magnolia||Danella Raworth Conway|
Thank you for creating the page for my aunt - you are a fast worker! I intended to do this but this was up before I could do it! Danella R. Conway is my maternal aunt and I hope you will turn this page over to me. I take care of most of our family's pages and this would mean so much to me.

|Gloria Tune||Louisa Anastacia "Gracy" Porter|
Just wondering if you have the source of Gracy Porter's (Find A Grave Memorial# 139688932) burial. I've seen this cemetery mentioned, but never with a source citation such as a cemetery record or book.
Gracy was my 4th g. grandmother by her daughter Mary Ann D. Lawson Stovall.
I've just made additions as you requested to Bettie and William McMath; if they are your family I would be most happy to transfer these sites to you. Just let me know - JDB

|Jahan Tolliver||Emmanuel Manny Tolliver|
Bobby, Emmanuel Tolliver was also preceded in death by an older brother, Elisha Tolliver, Jr. I am Elisha's son. Please update if you are able. Thank you.
|Amy DeLong||RE: Edwards Cemetery, Hinds Co., MS|
Great, thanks for the citation!
|Amy DeLong||Edwards Cemetery|
There's a mistake in my earlier message-- it should be *Edwards Cemetery in Hinds County, MS* instead of Greenwood.
