|I have been an avid genealogist for 25+ years. Names I am researching are McDanel, McDaniel, McDonald, Jackson, Hayden, Poe, Farris, Jones, Crane, Harp, Polsgrove, Crawford, Ables, French, Webb, Mitchell, Seay, West, and Dodge.|
I have been in awe of the dedication of the folks and the numbers of memorials entered by the people with whom I have been in contact. I hope to live up to the high standards set by those who came before me. I really love what this site is all about! Special thanks to ALL of the contributors!
Also thanks to all that send updates for my entries. They are always appreciated and also any duplicate notifications that I might have inadvertently entered. I always research the name before I enter anything but sometimes I slip up or the real name is different (maybe I am missing the first name or a different married name). So don't hesitate to point it out to me - I want to get the right information in the system.

Hi Linda, thanks for the kind words! I've added the info to their memorials also. I've only edited out the names of the living family members.

Thanks for the information. I posted it to my memorial at Russell Heights Cememtery. I was in Waycliff a few years ago at the Library checking on my husband's genealogy. I found out a lot about his family who were founders there. There were some famous Smiths that lived in Grave County.

Could you transfer her memorial to me, please. She is my 5x grandmother.

I am Rosie Bell Forest Hayden's. Great granddaughter. Her son Jesse Carl Hayden was my grandfather, his only son Maurice DeValla Hayden was my father. I am desperately trying to find my g- grandmothers birth & death. Certificates so I can find her mother & father to further my search for our Cherokee tribe. I don't have the money for the sites to pay to search. I also don't have the funds to pay a genealogists to do the search for me. I need the records in black & white so when I go before the chief for membership I'll have all the proof. If you can help me or point me in the right direction I
Would appreciate it very highly. I do know for a fact my g-grandmother was full blooded Cherokee my dad knew his grand mother. You may contact me by email. At

Thank you very much for your response. I would love to see any photos you may have of William Fonzo Seay. I've only seen one. His mother Ida (my great-grandaunt) was apparently the only sibling my great-grandfather John Henry Day remained close with in the older age.
Any photo you have of my cousin Fonzo, I would love to check out.

Thank you for the transfers. Keep up your good work creating Memorials to honor the memory of everyone's ancestors.

Thank you for creating this Memorial, and for taking the time and effort to try to learn something about who she was.
Thank you also for your rapid response to my SAC.
The Transfer is welcome as I have many members of this family's Memorials. I'll take good care of her until a closer relative comes along.
