I've been working on and off with my family's history for several years. Since most of my family history is in the Northeast, and I am not, I depend on volunteers in those areas for photos and documentation. I try to return the favor by helping those who need photos in my area of NW Mississippi and SW Tennessee.
Ester Lenora Stark She is my immediate maternal grandmother. Being 62 now my priorities have changed and my family history has become very important to me. I too am a find a grave contributor but have been doing it a short time. Please consider the transfer of her memorial to me for safe keeping.
Scanlon at Holy Name Cemetery JC Hi MJ, My name is Cecelia (joiseygirl) and I recently went to Holy Name in Jersey City to photograph the Scanlon plots in Section A. Section A is set up differently and for the life of me I could not locate the plots. So, I was wondering if you could call the office and ask them to FLAG Ellen (A-B-14) and Frances/Henorah (A-D-18) say you couldn't find them and you want to go back and visit. Ask them for directions because there are actually 2 A sections. Then let me know and I will keep a look out for the flags. Thank you for your help in this matter. Cecelia
Use of photos Good Morning, I would like to ask for your permission to use several of your photos on my Ancestry.com tree. Pink M. Mercer #33649624, John L. Mercer #141724142, John Wicker #33651170 and Mary Jane Wicker #33651198.
I would add on each photo used - "photo credit: M.J. Scanlon on Find a Grave"
RE: Holy Name Sorry about the unmarked graves. I too was hoping to find a marker, so I double-checked all the UMGs with the supervisor just in case I made a mistake. Unfortunately there were no errors. If I can take any other photos for you just LMK.
