I have enjoyed working on Find A Grave both as a volunteer photographer and as a contributor. My husband Dave and I have created memorials for our families and added as much information as possible, including photos and documents. My family names include, Carlson, Beck, Higley, Welter, Jones, Fenwick, Davenport, and Lamb. I have roots in Sweden, Germany, Ireland, Scotland and England.|
I take volunteer photographs in my home county of Montgomery, NC and surrounding counties of Moore, Randolph, Davidson, Stanly and Richmond. My husband is my partner in this endeavor, and we have trampled through the woods, briars, tall grass and poison ivy in search of old cemeteries. When I fulfill a request, if I see nearby family members' burials I will take additional photographs and add them to existing memorials, or create memorials. If you come across one of these, and are a relative, I will gladly transfer management. It's taking the photographs that interests me the most.
Feel free to contact me by e-mail or by leaving a message below and I will help in any way I can.

I noticed that you have posted to Lanes Chapel, Montgomery Co, NC.
I am looking for Marinda "Rinda" Hall Redwine b1827 d1863. Rinda was the wife of James M Redwine b1825 d1899.
I am also looking for John Redwine b1790 d1859. John was the husband of Rebecca Daniel Redwine b1793 d1863.
James & Rebecca are at Lanes Chapel. Are you near Lanes Chapel? Would you consider trying to find Rinda's & John's stones & photographing them?
Please let me know.

Dorothy....if you would please link Joan with her daughter Karen Cameron - 96715043, I would appreciate it. Joan was my aunt and Karen my first cousin.

Thanks so much for the note, Dottie. We share a lot of family history I think. I have quite a bit amassed and keep it on Ancestry. Let me hear from you if you want to share.
Hi Dorothy...the name of this page is "Rev Wm McGregor" for the stone at Morrow Mtn State Park. However, the notation refers to the site as being for "Malcolm McGregor". Can you clarify this for me? The Rev Wm McGregor is one of my ancestor grandfathers, however, I continue to have a hard time identifying where he was prior to his home where this memorial stone is located. I look forward to hearing from you. Many thanks in advance. Billie McGregor, Salem, MA
Thank you for the photos of the Coggins-Russell Cemetery. Do you recall how far off of the road the cemetery actually exists? Is it visible from the road?

Thank you so much for the photos of the grave of my grandfather, Abedee Blake. He died almost exactly 7 years before I was born, but I've heard so many stories about him and I find so many traits of his in myself (via my dad).
I've only been able to visit his grave twice -- the second time being upon the death of his brother, NC Rep. Colon Blake. As my father and his siblings age, I see so much of Abedee in their faces (and sometimes my own!) -- thank you so much for helping me to hold on to a connection with him!
Thanks for all the Candor Cemetery photos. Linda
