RE: Pauline Melvin Hickey-Powell
It looks like the photo is uploaded to the memorial page. Is it all as you want?
I'm glad to have been of help in your search.
Let me know if there's anything I can do to help in the future.

RE: Peter Black's, daughter Sallie
No, but my aunt (In-law) was from this family. I did the genealogy work for her cousin, who would also be your cousin. If you would like, with his permission, I can put you in touch with him. Where are you located? Did you find the info that they were Melungeon?

William Moore
Dianne, I am just writing to see if we could be related. I noticed that William Moore was born in Jefferson County in Tennessee and Jenny Moore was born in Hamblen County.

I can trace a Susan Moore (born Leonard)who was born 1842 and died in 1902. She married a William Moore born in 1841.

I am from the Leonard side of the family. The interesting part is my family was born and lived in Hamblen and Jefferson County, Tennessee. Are you related to any Willing(s), Harr's or Leonard,s?

RE: Sarah Collier-Holtzclaw
Here is another Jacob Holtzclaw. Married Sarah Parks in Garrard Co. 29 Jan. 1825. Sarah was the daughter of William Parks and Agnes Collier. Agnes was the daughter of Aaron and Margaret Collier. Aaron was the son of John and Cecelia Collier.

I now understand why Jacob left his children's finances in care of Barret Kemper and Henry Ballenger.

RE: Flower Token
Sorry again,
I read only one message and thought I had made that same boo-boo on my message to you....I went back and saw your first message and saw the heat not heart word.....forgive....I use the magnifier in order to see the screen and cannot see all messages because it's so large ...I have to move the mouse around to see all the messages.

And yeah, was a real sad day when my first granddaughter arrived.
