I have been in this business for almost 14years and find myself learning something new on a daily basis. I originally researched only my family's roots however I soon found that my talents could assist others in their quest for knowledge. |
Any information on my memorials is either my own or taken from public historical documents. If you are on a memorial with a photo I took, then please ask me if you can use the photo. Thanks!
If you would like assistance with your genealogy or more information on any of the individuals in my database, then please e-mail me!
THANKS TO MY SPONSORS!!!

If you call Acacia Park Cemetery and Mausoleum at 773-625-7800 and:
1. Ask if your photo request person has a headstone / grave marker.
2. If there is a headstone / grave marker ask for the section, block, lot and grave number.
3. If you send that information to me, Susan (#48964989) I will go there and fulfill your photo request. Of course any other Find A Grave volunteer can also fulfill your request if you then add the headstone location information to your photo request page.

I was planning on visiting Brooks Cemetery on Parker Road this Saturday 8 Oct and saw that Nadene had also planned a visit earlier. Are the 40 photo requests for Brooks Cemetery still open and needed? I will look for a different cemetery to photograph if you have what you need there. Thanks!
|Ms. Clyde||Gary McDonough|
Your memorial for Gary is 132827641
It appears to be a duplicate. You have his burial as 'unknown'; there is a memorial for him in a cemetery; see 165680229
Please check on this.
|Sherri Greenwell||Barbara Keller Riehm and Michael Riehm|
My 3x great grandparents are Barbara and Michael Riehm. Memorial #'s 100089020 and 100089028. I noticed on the photo's that these were new headstones throughout the cemetery. Barbara's shows her's in front of the old memorial. Could you tell how all this came about and are there any existing photo's of the original headstones or memorial?.
The new headstones definitely make things easier to read and I appreciate seeing them.
Their daughter Sophia Riehm married Otto Horner and they moved to Minn Sophia's memorial # is 162354819. I have a photo request for their memorial's.
Thank you for your lovely memorials for my great great great grandparents.

I live in will county and only abt 1/2 hour away from Homer Glen in Illinois. I would like to go to Brooks Cemetery as I see there are a lot of graves to be photo'd about 40. I was thinking about this weekend weather permitting for Sat and Sun. Is there anything you can tell me about the cemetery?
Weekend of 17-18 Sept. Please let me know.

You asked me: "Do you know where son William Stansil is? Hes missing on the lineage on the memorial...."
I haven't found his burial in New York where he moved bef. 1880. I found his wife's burial but not his. The last name variations make it hard to find records. :-( He lived in Buffalo, Erie, New York until 1920 and then I can't find him

|Mary Gross||Edward Leo Elrod|
I attempted to locate a headstone for Edward Leo Elrod at the Myers Cemetery in Palmyra, Montgomery Co, TN. I located several family members, but no head/foot stone for Edward Leo Elrod.
I am having trouble locating an obit to check. I am still searching and will try again if I get further information.
|Jay Loudermilk||RE: Coffman Cemetery|
It's location is just west of Lake Sullivan along the north side of the road leading back to town. As to the name, I'll do some checking. I don't believe anyone's been buried there for sometime. I'm with the County Cemetery Commission and I'll try and get a list of burials for you. It may be easier if you would like to reply by my email, you'll find it on my Find A Grave page. That way it would be simpler to send the info. I have a Wharton relation buried there also. I have been there to it many a time it's well kept little cemetery. Is there someone your particularly interested that is resting there? There are quite a few unmarked graves as with most older cemeteries which always make it difficult. Like I mentioned let me do some checking this week and if you can get back and I'll see if I can get you some answers.
