Many people do not understand our passion for recording graves and cemeteries. |
I try to record information correctly, but I make many mistakes. Thank you for spotting them and letting me know. I will transfer ownership if the departed is not directly related to me and wish others to show me the same respect. If you send a request and I fail to respond, please resend the request.
Please do not use my photos for financial gain or publication unless you request first.
I submit those who have gone before us as an honor, a memory to be cherish. I do not wish to hurt or offend. I am drawn to veterans graves, graves of children and unusual gravestones. Findagrave allows me to visit my family's graves within the privacy of my home.
Lost cemeteries and fallen, worn stones need to be recorded for those who follow, searching for their ancestors. If I have helped one person on their quest, I will feel this has not been in vain.

No, not hard to find but the new property owners are very clear that any visitors contact them first because they and others hunt back there frequently and wouldn't want anyone to get hurt. My family lives on a neighboring farm so I've visited a lot over the years, have some ancestors buried there, and doing some research on the families, I will probably be sending more updates and corrections as I find things. Thanks so much! FYI i deleted my pics, someone else took better ones and uploaded them thank goodness :).

Permilla who is buried in Jefferson County, Missouri, her mother who is not list was Mary Matilda Pruitt.
Permilla's mother was a sister to my gg grandfather Meredith Pruitte
Thanks for the heads up. I sent an SAC to the owner of the duplicate memorial, offering to transfer the original once the dupe has been deleted. :)

It is okay, most people don't read the caption. It is very easy place for a us-photographers to leave info. I will make note of things that I notice with the stone that don't really belong anywhere else. Actually the FAQ suggest leaving info there.

I hope you also read the caption because there was others on the other side.

First - thank you for your efforts. As one who does data entry I know what an undertaking it is. Just a quick note regarding this entry
The date entered as
Birth: Dec. 7, 1878
is different from that of the headstone itself which reads
7 Dec. 1875
With the numeric keypad - they are right above/below each other so I understand.
According to my file, Daniel was apparently married twice, so I added them to his memorial.
