I was born in Brooklyn, New York. My birth mother was Helen Ann Grace Kish, and birth father was Acisclo Striker Y Perez. A few days after my birth, I was given away to a couple who were friends with Helen and Acisclo. As I was growing up I can recall my birth mother visiting the person she gave me to, whom I believed to be my natural mother. Helen would come visit us with her other children, and while the ladies chatted, all the children would play together.|
About age 7, I was told by my birth mother that I was her daughter. As a result, the people who were raising me never let her see me again. After the death of the mother who raised me I set out to find information about my birth parents and my other siblings, wanting to know more about my heritage. This quest has turned into an obsession for me, as I continued to search for my ancestry and where I came from. My search started in 1989 and is still going strong.

Think I messed up with posting a photo and when I corrected it, erased your request for Anthony's grave. So sorry but there is no stone for this baby. Both babies in blk 56 and the one in Blk 55 have no stones. I did take a photo of the grave site for all 3 and will post with their names in captions when I can. Martha

You're very welcome. Glad I could help. Martha

you're most welcome! I had a neat experience finding Albert's stone. I was actually looking for another person in the cemetery and then I was going to look for Albert. I was aimlessly wandering the cemetery because I didn't know you could ask where people were buried at the office! Suddenly, I got this feeling that I needed to stop... I looked down and I was standing directly in front of Albert's stone! It was pretty cool. I don't know if you believe in spirits or the afterlife but it was definitely an experience I will never forget and it has made me think that people might be able to reach out from the other side... and I am definitely not one who ever thought those things were possible! I think that Albert really wanted to make sure the picture got taken and gave me a little nudge from the spirit realm :).

It's unlikely that Ulrich Scheetz is buried with his wife given that he died in Upper Milford Twp (which is not close to Apple's Cemetery). I'm not aware that anyone has found where Ulrich is buried.
Likewise, I've never seen anything to indicate when William Scheetz died although it's more likely that he might be buried in an unmarked grave in Apple's Cemetery. There's definitely no tombstone for him in this cemetery.

You are quite welcome. There were 8 other Raub headstones, plus 3 Raub family markers in Chalmers Cemetery as well, so I posted pics of all of them. I wasn't sure if you noticed or not, so I thought I'd let you know.

Dimmig, Grube, and Ziegenfuss names are engraved on the War memorial in the Union Cemetery. Go to my Facebook page (Robert Pueyes) and go to my Photo albums. the should be one for each of the names. Bob

... Ziegenfuss in the New Jerusalem cemetery right around the corner Bob
The cemetery where Samuel Raub is laid to rest is on the side of the church building. Many of these stones are illegible but I took the best picture I could. I also found a Jane, wife of Jacob Raub that was nearby but I did not see their names in your list. She was born Jan 8, 1803 and died Sept 4, 1863. Would you like this photo?
