Vera T. Dunagan
ABBEVILLE -Graveside services for Vera T. Dunagan, 93, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cannonville Cemetery with the Rev. J.T. Smith officiating.
Mrs. Dunagan died Monday, Sept. 10, 2007 in Pinewood Manor Nursing & Retirement Villa.
Born Feb. 7, 1914 in Wilcox County, she was the daughter of the late Hoyt Turk and Bertie Hood Turk. She was a lifelong resident of Wilcox County and was a homemaker. She was a member of Cannonville Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Edker Dunagan Sr.
Survivors include her sons, Robert Dunagan of Hawkinsville and Edker Dunagan Jr. of Abbeville; her daughters, Geraldine Meredith of Pineview, Elizabeth Phillips of Pitts and Clara Lanier of Vienna; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The family may be contacted at the home of Jackie and Elizabeth Phillips, 604 Clements Road, Pitts.
Frazier & Son Funeral Home of Rochelle has charge of the arrangements.

Deceased Name: Alleen M. Addison
CORDELE -- Funeral services for Alleen M. Addison, 87, will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2005, in the Cannonville Baptist Church with the Rev. Hicks Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Cannonville Cemetery.
Mrs. Addison died Tuesday, April 26 at her residence.
Mrs. Addison was born on August 25, 1917 in LaFayette, having lived in Wilcox County since 1960. She was the daughter of the late Mack Mahan and Lola Mae Wright Mahan. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pitts Church of God.
Survivors include three sons, Paul Addison of LaFayette, Marvin Addison of Cordele and William Addison of Pitts; three daughters, Florrie Williams of Statesboro, Jeanette Sutton of Rochelle and Lola Powell of Rochelle; 14 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Funeral Home. The family may be contacted at the residence of Jeanette and Herman Sutton, 17 7th Avenue in Rochelle.
Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle has charge of these arrangements.
