Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is Diana (Sturgis) Greb. My husband, Richard, and I celebrated our 49th wedding anniversary April 4, 2014. We have 2 daughters and three grandsons.
I have a copy of The Jefferson Cemetery (1861-1990) published by the Willamette Valley Genealogical Society--I am taking the bio information from that book. If anyone wants a complete copy of the infomation, I will be happy to send it to you.
The family names I research are Sturgis, Sturges, Ritter, Spencer, Carnaby, Greb and Schwindt.
I had to add this sunset picture that I took at Maui on August 29, 2009--I love to take sunset pictures--I did NOT do anything to the picture!

You can see copies of the Linn County DCs on the Linn Genealogical Society web

NOTE--I have taken digital pictures of all the DCs that I have added to findagrave. I have taken the DCs (1903-1963) for the following counties--Benton, Crook, Curry, Harney, Gilliam, Grant, Jefferson, Lake, Linn, Morrow and Wallowa. If you want a DC for someone in those counties, let me know and I will look and see if I can find them for you.

I also give Find a Grave Staff full permission to transfer any of my Memorials to who ever wants them upon my death. Hopefully this will help eliminate What I call Dead Memorials.

Want me to transfer a memorial to you?
I would like to give away every non-related memorial to people who have more information to add, so if you would like me to transfer a memorial to you, don't hesitate to ask; in your request, please include the memorial number (or a link to it) and your own Find-a-Grave member number.

Thanks for the death certificate. My great aunt who lives in John Day and knew of this airplane crash had told me that there was a neighbor child in the crash but I had thought my aunt was mistaken since Linda wasn't listed in the news article that I found. What a terrible tragedy this was:(

Hi Diana! It was nice to meet you in person in June at the State Archives! I was just there this week looking up death certificates for friends. I just realized that I missed three. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind looking them up for me. I would really appreciate it since I won't be back until maybe next spring (but hopefully sooner!). Arnistean Weitz(d. Jan 24, 1954; Multnomah); Eugene Ahern (d. Feb 10, 1927; Multnomah); and Ann Ahern (d. March 28, 1943; Multnomah).

I also went to the State Library. I wish I lived closer. I usually do over and back day trips. I just might have to stay over and make it a couple of days some time!
