The Closet Skeleton Genealogical Society is a group of intermediary genealogists that publicly post their research and blog about their historical discoveries and personal experiences.|
We take photos of grave sites from Barrie to the Toronto area of Ontario, Canada, or beyond if we're out and about.
We are willing to transfer familial memorials to their loved ones assuming they are of closer relation than any of our members and a polite request is made. We reserve the right to deny any transfer request outside of FindAGrave guidelines.
We give permission for our images to be reposted but request that we are notified where the image is being used and that the tag "Courtesy of Closet Skeleton Genealogical Society. Copyrighted Image. Used with Permission." is added to every image. If this tag is not included, we will file complaint with sites other than FindAGrave.com over unfair usage of our work.

Thank you very much for the transfers. Rita
Thank you for the names of the other graveyards in Niagara. It'll be interesting to see what other names show up later with their gravestones.
I will put the information you mentioned, when using your gravestones, for the Slingerlands.
Just asking if you would mind, if I used the Slingerland gravestone pictures you took, on ancestry?
Am looking for Richard & Elizabeth (Van Alstyne) Slingerland headstones. Would you be able to give me names of other cemeteries in Niagara?

This should get you there. Page 7, last column (DIED).

Hi Jenn & Mark,
Thanks so much for the photo of Peter Roe, his wife and daughter's monument at St. Mark's. As usual they have answered some questions and created some new questions.
If you could transfer the monuments I would appreciate it and if any closer relatives come along I will pass them on.
I would love to get higher resolution copies of the photos for my private use. I will PM you my email address.
I tripped across your society recently due to a Cemetery you created in Richmond, Co. Carleton, Ontario. It is good work that you are doing for Home Children and others. Please let me know if I can assist in the Ottawa Valley.

You are so welcome ! I'm happy you got to solve this family puzzle :) I uploaded the photo to her memorial and I'll look for other photos I have of the Bentley family.
If you search for other memorials in this cemetery or others near eastern townships let me know. I'll be Happy to help you again.

Thank you, I appreciated your message very much. My pleasure to help !
I arranged to put the photo of Pvt John Arthur Bentley in the Lakeside cemetery. I don't know why I uploaded in the halifax memorial at first so thanks to point it out to me.
For the Kalitta Bentley memorial, would it be the one with the name Keleter? It is the same date 1892 and age at death, so probably a mistake in the monument inscription. I wasn't sure so I did a new memorial and uploaded the photo there too. If you want me to remove the memorial and add the photo to Kalitta Bentley, I'll be happy to fix this :)
If I can help with anything else just let me know. By the way, I really like your username !
Cheers to you,

Thank you very much for the pictures you have provided to those of us who live so far away. My great-grandfather (Lyman St Clair Fisk) was born in 1862 in Barrie, to US parents, they were part of the lumbering industry. Getting any birth records in 1980 was impossible. The Hanmer's are very distant relatives so I was glad to find their graves. It appears men in the Fisk family married gals from families in Canada.
