Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am researching the following Families: Bilko, Dyno, Dayton, Gray, Seamans, Sleaszynski, Trella, Wakula, Wallace, and Zybura.

The Wakula's and Zybura's (my Grandparents) are from Poland, living in New Jersey, then moving to Pennsylvania and New York. Sleaszynski (my Maternal Grandfather) is from Russia, Poland immigrating about 1900. The Seamans started in Massachusets, then to New York. Dyno's are from Pennsylvania as well as Trella's. Dayton, Gray, and Wallace are from New York.

Some Cemeteries are very old and no longer active, therefore not maintained which makes locating a grave site all the more difficult. Others are maintained, however many of the stones are worn beyond readability, other grave sites remain unmarked.

Lakeview Cemetery in Ithaca, NY: This cemetery has always been difficult to find burials, recent ripoff's by two former Caretakers made things even worse. All records have been recovered and we are in the process of transcribing them into digital format so that we can fulfill request quickly. This will take some time as there are over Eight Thousand burials.

I have completely photographed the Cemetery so that I can now fulfill request quickly.

October 2, 2012: East Lawn Cemetery, Ithaca, NY has been completely photographed. Send your requests for headstone photos, I will fulfill your request.

Snyder Hill Cemetery, Dryden, NY memorials and photos of headstones has been uploaded and is as complete as I can make it. There are many unmarked graves.

Mount Olive Cemetery located within the city of Ithaca limits on East State Street is photographed as best as possible. It has minimal maintenance. Some headstones are unreadable, others have been knocked down and inscriptions are face down. Many graves are unmarked.

After a trip to Saint John's Cemetery in Richmondale PA where my mother, brother, and grandparents are buried, I photographed the entire cemetery, created memorials and uploaded the photo's. Again, there are many unmarked graves which I will try to find records for and create additional memorials. 9/05/2012. As a young child, I can remember wooden crosses marking some graves, I would assume that those graves are now unmarked.

If I create a memorial for any member of your family, send me a note and I will be glad to transfer it to you.

Rumsey Family Tombstones
Hello Tom,
Thank you so much for locating, photographing and posting the images of Abner and Nellie Rumsey's tombstones. I also appreciate what you have done in regard to James and Mary Rumsey and their family members. Most of that information came from an early genealogy on the family. Will need to re-assess and make some inquires as to where they really are buried. I can't thank you enough for all of your assistance! Patrick

Hi Tom, Again thank you for adding the headstone photo for my great, great grandparents. I had not realized that there was not a memorial for my great, great grandfather so I created one for him. Would you mind posting the photo that you added for grandma Blanche onto grandpa William? There numbers are 129803242 and 135983765. Thank you again and please let me know if you would like for me to officially send the request through the request line at your attention. Michelle
