I love to do genealogy and believe in researching beyond the immediate family. I have researched siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins and even the genealogy of the husbands of the cousins!|
I have surveyed almost all of the cemeteries in Wichita Co. TX and some in Clay and Archer and have taken headstone photos of all of them.
I have written 2 books called, "How Did They Die? Murders in Northern Texas, 1892-1927" and "How Did They Die? Murders in Northern Texas, 1927-1950, and my third book is called, "Views of the Past, Downtown Wichita Falls, Texas which is a picture books with over 375 photos from the downtown area."
I also am the owner of "Historical Tours in Wichita Falls, Texas where I give a downtown daytime tour, a night time downtown "dark side" tour and a Riverside Cemetery tour. See more at wftours.com

Thank you so much for the photo.
|Greg Volk||Thanks for the photo of James Lester|
Hi Julie. The stone has seen better days, but you took a nice picture. This James Lester is a lot older than I expected. He may be the father of the one I was looking for.

Julie thank you for your photos. I took the photo from Elias Benjamin Potter and Rebecca Priscilla Corum Potter from his site and added it to Rebecca's memorial, which I have just updated. They are in the Holliday Cemetery. Thank you for all your work for those of us researching family.

Thank you do much for the photo. I know the heat (over 100) in North Texas during the summer! That makes this photo even more difficult and much appreciated.

Thanks so much for adding the grave photo for Luther. It's perfect -- now to figure out who L.A. is . . . Marlene
Ah, that makes sense then. That's his father.

I didn't even think that is could just be a family marker and everyone has their own head marker in the ground. I'm relatively new to this although I've had my account for so long. I will get back with you soon.
