Lt. Leon O. Cochran, USN (Ret.) (Mustang) served 30 years in the Navy, three tours to Vietnam, a VERY proud American, and a loyal Reaganite to the end! Karen (AKA Mama) is a licensed Mortician, mother of 4 and a grandmother of 10. We are shamelessly unemployed and loving every minute of it. We both come from a very long line of warriors and both our sons have served in the military...one a career naval officer. My father, SMsgt. John O. Cochran, USAF (Ret.) fought in WWII, Korea and Vietnam; God rest his soul. Our "blood line" ancestors have fought in every war of freedom since the American Revolutionary War. GOD BLESS AMERICA!|

If you do a Google search of this "30 year Navy vet" and "proud American" you will find he is a registered sex offender for child pornography. I know for a fact of at least one child he molested and raped at age 7. Such a model American you are Mr. Cochran. I hope those 10 grandchildren of yours are safe and sound. At least I know my child will be.

|Daniel Harrison||Cornog family bio|
Family of Mack W. Cornog
Mack Willard Cornog was probably born in Stone County, MO. He was born about 1922. According to his death certificate, he died in April 1948 in Newton County, MO.
The parents of Mack W. Cornog were Forest and Mattie (McReynolds) Cornog. They are listed in the 1920 census of Stone County, MO, in Pierce Township, and also on his death certificate. Forest was age 27 and Mattie was age 23 in 1920. Both were born in Missouri, and both of their parents were born in Missouri. One child, a daughter, age 1, born in Missouri, is listed with them. Her name is difficult to read, but appears to be Junita.
Forest Cornog is listed in the 1900 census of Christian County, MO, with his parents, Edward W. Cornog and wife Ida. They are living in Galloway Township. Edward is age 30 and Ida is age 28. Edward was born in Missouri, and both of his parents were born in Tennessee. Ida was born in Tennessee and both of her parents were born in Tennessee. Listed with Edward and Ida are four children. The name of Forest is the only legible name. He is shown to be age eight, born in Missouri, The three other children are two sons, ages six and one, both born in Missouri. The daughter is listed at age four and born in Missouri.
The Latter Day Saints family history site lists the father of Edward Cornog, born 1869, Christian County, MO, as Hiram W. Cornog. The 1900 census of Christian County, MO, lists Hiram Cornog, age 55, born Tennessee, father born Penn., and wife Lucy, age 46, born Tennessee, both parents born Tenn. Listed with them are son John, age 19, born MO: son Charles, age 15, born MO., and son (illegible), age unclear. (This could be a son named Hiram who appears separately in later census of Christian County, MO, born about 1888. Edward W Cornog would have been age 30 in 1900 and no longer living with his parents. The death certificate for Lucy Cornog lists her as born Feb 21, 1846, Tenn., and date of death as March 3, 1921, at Kansas City, MO. Her father is listed as W.W. Tatum, born Tenn, and her mother Brenda Landus, born Tenn.
It should be noted that there is another Edward Cornog listed in the 1900 census of Green County, MO, age 27, born MO, father born TN, mother born TN, with wife Merry and an infant, un-named son, born in 1900. Additional research would be needed to determine how this Edward Cornog fits into the Cornog family.
The father of Hiram Cornog as listed at the LDS site as E. H. Cornog. E.H. Cornog is shown in the 1860 census of Christian County, MO, age 47, born Penn. With him is wife M.H. ,age 45, born Tenn. Listed with them is a son, H.W. Cornog, age 15, born Tenn. This must be the Hiram W. Cornog of later census and the father of Edward Cornog. In 1870 this same E.H. Cornog is listed as Edward Cornog, age 57, born Penn, with wife Nancy, age 54, born Tenn. With them are children Thomas, 22, Elizabeth, 18, Matilda, 15, Margaret, 13, Emma, 11, and Charles H., age 10. Hiram is not listed as he would have been about age 25 and living away from home.
Mattie McReynolds, mother of Mack Cornog, at age four, is listed in the 1900 census of Christian County, MO, with her parents James, age 30, and Tilda, age 25, McReynolds, living in Galloway Township. There is also a two year old daughter listed, however, her name is illegible. There is a death certificate available from State of Missouri for a James McReynolds who died in May, 1936 in Christian County, MO. This may be the father of Mattie. James McReynolds is listed in the 1880 census of Christian County, MO, with his parents, P.W. McReynolds, age 38, born KY, and his wife, Mary J., age 33, born MO. They also have children John T., age 12; Fletcher W., age 6; William L., age 3; and Charley F., age 1.
P.W. McReynolds is listed in the 1900 Stone County, MO, census, age 57, born KY, with wife Mary J., age 52, born MO. With them are children Charles, 21, Ollie, 12, and Lizzie, 7.
Mack Willard Cornog is buried in the Spokane Cemetery, Christian Co., MO, near the large tree at the north center part of the cemetery.
