Recording each person's time on this Earth is a very worthy objective, expecially for historical and genealogical purposes. I am happy that I can be a small part of this great world-wide collection of information. But, in the interest of efforts expended and reasonable time I have to index, photo and service memorials may I ask for your cooperation with the following:

I am not related to most of the entries I've posted and try only to enter information appearing on the gravemarkers, including associated photographs (where possible).

Please,(if you are not a Findagrave Contributor) and will send your requests through FAG, I will try to answer questions, respond to comments, make additions and/or corrections and will attempt to enter your requests as time will permit.

Please, (if you are a Findagrave Contributor), follow Findagrave's instructions explaining proper procedures before requesting any action, in your behalf, to be initiated by the original Contributor. I will continue to update and correct my entries, including Linkages for identifiable families.

However, I have found it necessary to now disregard all Obituary, all Newspaper, and all other similar requests for postings and updates that refer to either second or third party documentary sources (or both). I believe these types of requests should be taken care of by the Contributors who can maintain and support entries made through their own records.

Transfers from the original Contributor to the requesting Contributor is often possible, and preferred, to accomplish a satisfactory update to a Memorial. The requesting Contributor can then become the "Maintainer" of the Memorial.

To preclude your E-Mails and Messages from not being received and acted upon, would you enter "Findagrave" as the subject. If you will provide me with, at least, the specific Cemetery and Find A Grave Memorial #'s ( I.D.Numbers) with your requests, I will attempt to fulfill those requests. I want to emphasize I do not use the "Edit" provision, at this time, for any updates to entries I have originated and maintain.

Please note: If a subject photo is not completely clear, you can get that photo (shown as the acutal photo I submitted to Findagrave), by clicking on the "blurred" photo, which will then be clear and printable for suitable for use.

Thank you all, in advance, for assisting me in this work. I really appreciate all of you fine people that have become my friends through this association with Findagrave. To experience the harmonious and co-operative nature of this site makes the world a brighter place each and every day. Let's make every day a beautiful day.

Soren P. Sorenson
Hi Bill,
I have written before and you graciously transferred the Memorial you created for my great uncle to me. His name was Soren P. (Peter) Sorenson, #43134620, in the Mountain View Cem., in Pocatello, ID. Someone has linked Esther Sorenson Grunig as his daughter and she is not his daughter. Her father was named Soren Sorenson but it is not this Soren Sorenson. There is no way I can take it off unless you are willing to delete the memorial. (I had created another one, #134064058) Since you had transferred the upkeep of the first memorial to me, you don't need my permission to delete it, do you? If you would be so kind to delete it, I can then link him to his wife and his own children. Thanks so very much. Ellen Smith Draughon, #47685816.

Jay Ross Cunningham

Finding this memorial was really a big help.
We had looked and looked for a Ross, not knowing his name was Jay Ross.

Thank you very much for the transfer.
May I have permission to add the headstone photo to Family Search.

Thank you for all the help.
Richard

connecting family members
Hi Bill, I have alot of geneology that i recently recieved from my mama. I see your name on all my current family's info. I have more info to add onto some of my family, as well as connections that have not been made on here, but I am not sure if I can input the info I have, or if I would submit it to someone else to input it. I hope you can help me with this. Thanks

Soren Peter Sorenson
Hi Bill,
I see that you created a memorial for my great uncle, Soren Peter Sorenson, #43134620, for which I am most appreciative. Actually, his full name was Soren Peter Andreas Sorenson. You have the birth and death dates correct. However, he did not have a daughter named Ester Sorensen Grunig (1897-1974). As you can see, Soren would only have been 14 when she was born. Soren had a daughter named Surena Julia (named after her mother, Julia Burton Bluemel Sorenson), and a son named June Gilbert Sorenson.
The above mentioned Ester's father was also named Soren Peter Sorenson (1849-1938) and her mother was Margaret Jensen. They lived over near Bear Lake.
Would you please be so kind as to un-link Ester from this Soren P. Sorenson (43134620)? Thank you so much for all you have done in this great work. Ellen Smith Draughon, #47658214. P. S. If you care to transfer Soren's memorial into my care I would be most happy to receive it. I can then add his wife and two children, etc. Thanks again.

RE: Obit. - Woodrow Longhurst
Sorry I guess I missed that about Obituaries.
I would be happy to manage the memorial. I'm not related but Woodrow is the grandfather to Norm Longhurst who is a good friend of mine. I will request the transfer and you may use your judgement. Thanks for the help.

re: Linderman, James
grrr. I accidentally submitted that previous message before I typed anything.

Doh!!

Anyway, I wanted to let you know that James Linderman (b. 1885, Illinois) is my great grandfather. I did notice that a son of theirs is not listed in the memorial page.

Ralph Roland Linderman (b. 1922. d. 1978)
